The Butcher’s House, Bothwell, Tasmania

A humble heritage cottage built in the early 1800s. The fireplace keeps the cottage warm during the cold winters. The house has been restored and curated with a collection of vintage and antique pieces which speak to the varied history of the cottage. Outdoors is rustic but charming. The grass is overgrown to encourage insects and small animals, forgive the disheveled appearance. We love to step back in time; no TV, WiFi, microwave or dishwasher! We recommend turning off & tuning out.
