It is well-known for good world wide famous wines with a 17 century long tradition, and also for a national drink of Rakija. The most famous wine "Bermet" from Fruška gora stood on the wine-list of Titanic. The bottles were found during the exploration of the ship wreck. Every last weekend in September or first weekend in October a grape manifestation is held in Sremski Karlovci, it is a must.
