The National Trust properties at Felbrigg and Blicking are close by, and beautiful Sheringham Park is a short drive away. Roughton has a shop open 24/7, a petrol station and pub serving food; and Cromer has an abundance of cafes, restaurants and some of the best fish and chips for miles around. There are some excellent gastro pubs nearby;The Gunton Arms at Thorpe Market and The Vernon Arms at Southrepps, to name but two.
