You will learn how to start from ground zero: how to feed & maintain your lovely and bubbly starter, mixing and shaping the dough and finally the baking techniques.

So be prepared to get your hands messy!

What you will get:

* 100 grams of a 130+ year old 100% organic rye sourdough starter

* 1 x dough, to take home and bake it later as a homework

* (an almost) bulletproof recipe

* bread proofing basket (banneton)

There will be kombucha on tap, tea, coffee and freshly baked bread to taste

What to bring: apron, or wear clothes you’re not worried getting flour or dough on, esky for the dough to travel home in.

This workshop runs for maximum of 3 people.
Other things to note
I currently can not cater for gluten intolerant people - my apologies.

We have recently moved out to a farm between Mt Vincent and Quorrobolong, about an hour from Newcastle and two hours feom Sydney. The workshop is held in my kitchen as to demonstrate bread baking can be done at home, easy-peasy! :)
