Sanctuary Woodland Guest House!

Our guest house is located on a picturesque 5 acres, next to a woodland forest. We also run a bird sanctuary on the property, Georgia's Place Bird Sanctuary, which makes this a paradise for an animal lover! We are happy to give guests a tour of our sanctuary. There is a large deck and fire pit for an enjoyable evening, and a walking trail for wildlife enthusiasts! We kindly ask guests not to bring meat onto the property as we are running a sanctuary that promotes compassion for all animals.

White Tail Oaks Lodge (White Tail Room)

White Tail Oaks is perched high on Illinois 2nd highest location at 1,189’ Surrounded by protected by conservation land full of 200-year-old Oak, Hickory and Cherry trees. A stocked catch and release fishing pond and an ephemeral wetland which creates an attractive habitat for many savanna and declining grassland bird species. Fifty-two bird and waterfowl species live here, along with eagles, coyotes, foxes and lot of white tail deer. The property itself is State Forest Land.
