Our place is your perfect stay: beautiful walks are a stone's throw away, the comfy bed is sure to please, while the house also benefits from a lovely separate sitting area and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate bath. There is also ample off -street parking.

With easy access to major road networks and transport links from our home, We are in an ideal location for commuting to or exploring the nearby Cities of Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle which are bursting with culture and attractions. To the East we have the coastal town of Seaham Harbour, to the West we have Beamish Museum, County Durham and Northumberland

"HAY LOFT" quiet rural location, close to Durham

Arriving on two wheels? We have space for 2 motorbikes in the garage below. The Loft is located in our large garden in the middle of the countryside at the end of a farm track, it is half a mile from the nearest road meaning ZERO traffic noise. The headroom is kind of tight along the two sides but, at 6 feet tall I manage okay. Perfect for two, but can easily cope with 4 people. The Loft is accessed by external concrete steps.
