Claverley is a unique spot set alongside the natural coastline of this region. Dolphins, seals and the odd whale frequent the area. Moa cottage offers somewhere to relax and unwind while listening to the ever changing sea sounds and the local native birds. Our cottage is comfortable with all the necessities (laundry, dishwasher etc) so you can enjoy your stay. Although there is no wifi, cell phone coverage is good considering the remoteness so you are able to hotspot off your phone.

Relax with coffee on the deck of this delightful, rustic bach, located on a private stunning beach. You are likely to spot seals or dolphins on their travels. There is always plenty to see and do. Fishing, cricket, reading, puzzles, etc. For shops head 40 minutes North to Kaikoura or 30 minutes south to Cheviot for spectacular wines and art filled cafes. Please note: do not swim at the beach -the lagoon is best for summer swimming, located south of the cottage. (No pets).
