The Caboose is located only 10 miles from San Marcos or New Braunfels. Our 18 acres is quiet but is only 5 miles from outlet malls & only 30 mins from either Austin or San Antonio. You have access to common areas including a pool with a covered deck where you are welcome to grill. You also have a laundry room, and play areas for kids. It is part of a group of five Airbnb units. In the late 1990’s, my husband and I found this property when looking for a home in the area. It's a wonderful 1890's Missouri-Pacific train depot from the Texas town of Buda. We've added 3 cabooses that are now Airbnb guest rooms plus a little antique hunting cabin that is a one bedroom unit we call The Shack. Each is rented separately. It has a pool and lots of fun play areas for kids. We are only 5 miles from the outlet malls, 8 miles from Gruene, & 30 mins from Austin or San Antonio.
