Blackthorn is a luxurious retreat for two. Attached to the owner's home, and situated on the edge of Icklesham village, the property lies halfway between the ancient towns of Rye and Hastings. There is a distant view of the sea, and the garden is surrounded by beautiful AONB countryside. The cottage has a private, south facing verandah, and guests are welcome to use the heated, indoor swimming pool and outdoor hot tub throughout their stay but exclusively between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm.

Tucked away in an unspoilt part of East Sussex on a traditional working sheep farm, our idyllic self-catering cottage is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty with stunning views across the valley & a sea vista. Contemporary high end self catering holiday cottage. Dogs and horses are welcome. We are very close to beaches at Winchelsea and Camber. The village pub is a 5 minute walk and there are many other lovely pubs a short drive away.

With open countryside on the doorstep, there are plentiful walks including the 1066 Country Walk which runs long side the property. With comfortable space both inside and out, you can also just take it easy and enjoy the peace and tranquillity on offer.
