Fairbourne is a quiet seaside village; the Wales coastal path goes right by our front door, and the area is ideal for walking, biking, seafishing and watching the glorious sunsets over Cardigan Bay. We are just outside of the Snowdonia national park, and the village has rail and bus links making it an ideal spot to explore from. The house has a large conservatory with views of Cader Idris, where guests can sit in comfort and watch the weather. Basic breakfast food, tea and coffee are provided.
Lovely traditional stone cottage, built originally as a chapel in 1806 in the village of Arthog in the Snowdonia National Park with beautiful mountain views. 5 minutes from the railway at Morfa Mawddach-4 mins to Barmouth, or a fab walk. Just a few metres from the stunning Mawddach Trail, it is the ideal location for a wide range of outdoor activities such as hill walking, mountain biking, pony trekking and just a short distance from Fairbourne beach with its famous steam railway. Pets welcome.
