The house was built in 1875 in Victorian gothic style. It is located in the beautiful village of Pontesbury on the edge of The Shropshire Hills, an AONB. The village has a Co-op, local butchers/bakers, 3 pubs, chip shop, a Chinese and an Indian restaurant and many other amenities. It is 7 miles from the county town of Shrewsbury with a direct bus link within a 2 minute walk of the property. There is a large network of rights of way heading into the hills from the front door. *NB There is no tv!*

Quarry View is a quirky, comfortable property nestled in the woods in Pontesbury. Comfortably sleeping 2 with the option of a travel cot/camp bed for a child if needed. Really quiet location but within a half hour drive of some lovely Shropshire towns and ideal for walkers. We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, including basic breakfast items and logs for the log burner. We are happy to provide info about the area and as we live next door, we are easily contactable if needed
