Located on the outskirts of Lake Manapouri this self contained cottage (kitchen and laundry included) has magnificent views into Fiordland National Park from both within the cottage and the outdoor BBQ and hot tub area. Fully self contained home complete with own garden area on our 12 acre alpaca farm. Keep warm and cosy every season with our alpaca duvet on the bed and black out curtains to ensure a really good nights cosy sleep. Meet and join us feeding our alpacas during your stay.

Kepler Mountain View Alpaca Cottage is a fully self contained cottage located on our Alpaca Farm.

There is parking available at the cottage which is surrounded by gardens and outdoor living area with gas BBQ and spa pool. The cottage has a full laundry (complimentary laundry powder provided) and kitchen which has kitchen basics provided (Coffee beans, teas including a wide range of herbal, oils, seasonings, flour etc).

Snuggle under luxury alpaca duvets for a wonderful nights sleep after a long soak watching night stars in the spa pool. Soft warm dressing gowns and additional spa towels provided.

Enjoy the rural aspect of the property with magnificent views in every direction. The property is surrounded by neighboring farms and generally there is a mixture of sheep, cattle and deer on the neighboring farms most of which can be seen from the cottage surrounds.

Meet our alpacas - we can arrange a suitable time for you to meet our alpacas, there is always some close to the cottage too.

Manapouri is located on the edge of Fiordland National park, the only town to be closely connected with Fiordland National park right on its doorstep at beautiful forested Lake Manapouri. Lake Manapouri is the beginning of the Doubtful Sound trip as well as many walks in Fiordland National park.

Ray and I acre farm alpacas on our property on the outskirts of Lake Manapouri where I work as a Fibre Artist, host our guests in our Kepler Mountain View Cottage on the farm and look after our alpaca herd.

We love to share this beautiful tranquil setting with others who enjoy getting away from busy lifestyles into a laid back quiet spot located right beside Fiordland National Park. We invite our guests to join us on our farm each afternoon to meet and hand feed our alpacas or at a time that fits their itinerary.
Alpacas have a wonderful way of relaxing people and it is a pleasure to work with them and use their fibre in my work.

Ray and I travel each year and generally look for out of the way places where you can experience the real people and their lives and this is why we choose to share our lives with our guests.

We endeavour to live our lives and farm to ensure that we look after this beautiful healthy environment in which we are so lucky to live in.
