Since our grand-kids visit often we have books, games and toys that you are welcome to use. At this time we do not have cable/satellite TV or internet (WiFI) access. In addition, we have a lot of DVD and VHS movies you can watch. We have an old TV in the secondary room that you can watch DVD’s and VHS. Also, in the living room is a flat screen TV and DVD player.
Washer and dryer is available, but encourage full loads (donation appreciated to help with costs of water and detergent).
Depending on the weather, you might be interested in swimming in the Stanislaus River. Rafting, kayaking and canoeing is another option (if you have your own). There is a company that you can pay for rafting.

Meet the hosts –
+++++If your going to Yosemite please check with them on closures/restrictions. Also, if you plan to go river rafting, contact the local rafting co to see when you need to make reservations. Some local restaurants may offer food to go/outdoor seating. +++++++
Sorry we don't allow any other animals on our property. We don't allow parties. *******
This AirBnB offering is in the 2nd home of Dan and Laura Armstrong. Laura’s mom Kathy and Miles Shuper, step-dad live in the front house on the property. Miles is a retired journalist/columnist and great-great grandson of the original settlers of 1848; he’s always glad to share interesting stories, historical footnotes (at a distance at this time). Miles and Kathy will be your host. Kathy and Miles have two dogs. They do not run lose when guests are on the property. There are several cats who are welcome solely to keep gophers and snakes off the property. Please realize our home is in the country. We try to keep all outside critters/bugs outside. Sorry, no guest pets allowed.

Knights Ferry, California, l-Istati Uniti

Charming historic community of Knights Ferry has the longest wood covered bridge west of the Mississippi. Also, the Knights Ferry Recreation area is home to the Army Corps of Engineers. There are 2 little museums. Knights Ferry is a mecca for walkers, runners and bicyclists. Weekends tend to have extra people visiting the area: watch the salmon spawning in the fall, picnic at the park, swim in the river, kayaking, rafting down the river or attending some event (car show, peddlers fair, civil war reenactment, pumpkin roll, etc).

My husband Dan and I live Woodlake with our daughter Gem and grandkids Anthony and Brayden. Knights Ferry is our second home. My mom Kathy and step-dad Miles live in the front house on the Knights Ferry property. They are the host for our Airbnb, the back house. They are full of local information. Miles family came to the area in the 1860's
