A unique loft-style tiny house tucked away under a huge magnolia tree. Its Zen vibe is a perfect getaway space for anyone wanting to unwind, relax and enjoy local beaches – approx 2.5 miles away – explore downtown Charleston and all it's award-winning restaurants in a short 10 minute drive over the Ravenel Bridge.

If you've seen the TV show Tiny House Nation, and thought, "those are really cool," and wondered what it would be like to live in one of them, well here is you chance. The tiny house is just under 300 square feet, but is amazingly quite roomy. It comes equipped with driftwood-look tile floors throughout, a full kitchen: 4 burner gas range/oven, granite countertops, sink, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, microwave oven, and ample cabinets for storage. The bathroom is quite roomy as well with a quarter-round shower, full size sink and toilet with a large recessed mirrored medicine cabinet. Main area has a comfortable love seat with ottoman that faces a large picture window that looks out onto beautiful, old live oaks. When you're not looking out the window, you can view a 32" flat screen TV equipped with Apple TV and Netflix (no cable TV). Wireless internet is available – wifi password is in cottage on information sheet. There is also a very large wardrobe to hang clothes or store shoes, etc.
The ladder to the loft is heavy duty and at a comfortable and safe angle for climbing. It can also be pushed up flush to the wall so it's out of the way when not in use. The loft area has a queen size mattress that sits on floor. There isn't room to stand up in loft. It's just a cozy place to sit or lay down and relax.
The tiny house has a mini split that cools and heats as needed, and a ceiling fan. There's also a fan up in the loft.

***The tiny house, with its loft space, isn't suitable for young children; therefore, children under the age of 10 are not permitted.

Being the oldest neighborhood in Mt. Pleasant, it is very safe and family oriented. The Old Village area has houses that date back to the 1700s. There are two parks about 2 miles away called Alhambra Hall and the Pitt Street Old Bridge. You can view the City of Charleston, ships and sailboats in the harbor. The Old Bridge park has a fishing pier. Both are a nice walk or bike ride through the neighborhood. Down in the commercial area of the Old Village is an old pharmacy (Pitt St. Pharmacy), wine shop, awesome boutique and florist, hair salon, chiropractor, and a restaurant called the Post House (reservations a must). A few blocks from there you will find Shem Creek which has more restaurants with waterside dining, bars, kayak and standup paddleboard rentals/tours.

Hi, I was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, so I know the area very well. I can give you insight on the happening places to go and the best way to get around town so you can experience all that Charleston and the surrounding areas have to offer.
A little about me... I'm a freelance graphic designer and moonlight as a bartender sometimes. I love the beach and anything that has to do with the ocean and the outdoors. Surfing and paddle boarding are two things I do in my spare time. Also like to hop in the boat and explore the Intracoastal waterway and marshes. Love to travel to exotic, off the beaten path locations and meet new people along the way.
My friends would describe me as being a pretty laid back person. As a host, I would be pretty hands-off unless you needed my advice or help on things to do and places to go. Would love to host you. Hope you book my zen-style tiny house. But watch out ... you might end up like everyone else that comes for a visit to Charleston ...they usually come back and stay for good.
