The Farmhouse is a beautiful European-style building with four rooms, each opening onto the large wooden verandah that overlooks the surrounding hills. Each room (rented separately) has a TV and all the beds/furniture in the rooms are hand-built. The rooms share a bathroom and toilet. Guests will need to climb stairs to access the rooms. There is a kettle, microwave and fridge on the shared verandah however no other cooking facilities. The onsite cafe is open each day from 8am to 8pm.

L-ispazju
Barkala Farmstay is a working Australian farm and also home of the famous Pilliga Pottery. Located just 30km North of Coonabarabran, NSW this farmstay offers a unique opportunity to experience rural life on an Australian Farm.
Guests can get involved in daily farm activities such as milking the cow (seasonal), feeding the goats, sheep, pony, chooks and guinea pigs, toasting marshmallows by the fire (outside of bushfire season only) or walking any number of the 60km bushwalking tracks across the 12,000 acre farm.
The Pottery offers free hands on clay play and there is a salt water swimming pool, volleyball court, playground for young children and ample room for ball sports.
To access the property, guests need to travel a 10km all weather access dirt road which can get bumpy in the dry season but adds to the farm experience.
There is no cell-phone reception on the majority of the farm.

Aċċess għall-klijenti
You have access to the whole property, there are many bush walks to go on and animals to visit. We have a cafe which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner - 7 days a week.

Our neighborhood is defined mainly by being very stretched, due to the huge property sizes: our nearest neighbour is a couple of kilometers away. However, this means that there is a lot of free space on our property for wandering around, with some great panoramic views on the lookouts. Make sure not to miss them when you visit us!
