This is a Costa Rican rancho located in a secluded neighborhood of La Fortuna yet close to everything you might need (supermarkets, farmacies, banks, etc.) only 15 MINS DRIVE from downtown and main touristic attractions, giving you the opportunity to experience the authentic Tico lifestyle. The property counts with a small cozy bedroom equipped with A/C, Closet, Cable TV, free WiFi and bathroom with hot water. There is a large outdoor kitchen fully equipped: gas stove, mini oven, refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, coffee maker, plates, cups, etc, and of course a barbecue area. A washer machine is available for you when having long stays. A private pool with a waterfall is ready for your enjoyment. Tap water is potable. There are some free games for your entertainment (foosball, Jenga, etc.) The bedroom can accommodate two people but, you can come with friends or family, all you need is bringing a camping tent to let them camp outside the room but under a roof (any additional persona after 3 people will pay $10). The rancho and pool are surrounded by a forested area full of beautiful plants and trees, the Arenal Volcano can be seen from the property, also some animals could be spotted (birds, garrobos, sloths, iguanas, etc.) We keep renovating the place and we strive to make your stay with us to be a memorable one. We will provide you a digital guidebook via email once you booked with us to help you plan your trip to La Fortuna. Shangri-La is a very quiet neighborhood, you'll be relaxed at nights with nature sounds. There are other properties similar to this one, people are very friendly and welcoming, you can take a stroll around the neighborhood, use common sense to avoid invading or damaging others property. During daylight some maintenance (gardening) might occur in the surroundings.

We will be far from the zone (3 hours drive) and cannot attend you in person directly, sometimes we might meet in person if we happen to be in the zone. We will be always ready to quickly respond to any questions you might have via Whatsapp or Airbnb messages. We really appreciate that you openly communicate with us, especially to let us know when you arrive or leave the house. If you have any needs send us a message or call us, we can arrange something for a neighbor of trust or our cleaning lady to help (during daylight), just keep in mind that the response time might not be immediate but they will be there for you as promptly as possible. On your arrival you will find your towels and the house will be tidy and clean, everything ready for your enjoyment! there is no cleaning service included during your stay but if you want it, you can request it by a very low cost ($10 each service), you can pay directly to our maiden or else send us the money via Airbnb money transfer (in colones or US dollars).
