My place is close to Sam Levy village, Borrowdale. Set on the top of a hill, is a choice of two thatched properties with great views of Harare at night and amazing sunrise and sunset views. Our listing availability is for either house therefore kindly message to confirm which house is free.

They're very spacious both indoors and outdoors and give you a lot of room to be creative about your stay. The houses are good for couples, business travellers, families, and big groups (up to 14)

A choice of two properties bringing total capacity to 10-15 guests! - (Please specify whether the 4-bed or 3-bed are required so that we can confirm availability)

Secure, peaceful stay in a quiet neighbourhood, which is versatile to your specific needs. There is DSTV and Wi-fi for entertainment, and also a lot of outside space and balconies for sunset viewing or just taking a well deserved rest.

Water and Power Supply
The property is powered by electricity, back-up diesel generator and has both an electric hob and ovens as well as a gas hob. Water is supplied to all three properties (Main Holiday House, Guest House and staff quarters) by a 3-way water system from three water tanks with a combined capacity of 15,000 litres. The water levels are monitored by the housekeeper and grounds man and we have a contract with a water company that tops these tanks up when required. We only ask our guests to be conscious of the water situation and try as much as possible to conserve water; ensuring taps are always closed after use. The housekeeper will also keep an eye on the electricity levels and tops these up when required.

They have a unique architecture which combines modern day living and country-style living with that thatch finish of both guest houses.

4-Bed Thatched Double Storey Guest House
The larger guest house has a unique and spacious open plan social area with a night and sunset view spot, bar, lounge and modern kitchen. There are two large balconies leading from the lounge.
There is ample storage space and walk-in dressing rooms to two of the four bedrooms, all of which are downstairs.

The first two bedrooms also have very spacious en-suite bathrooms.
The other two smaller double bedrooms benefit from a spacious family bathroom with shower facilities which also has a lot of storage space.

Downstairs you will also find a laundry room and linen cupboard. (restricted to staff)
Car parking space is for three cars in two garages (one of which is part of the 3-bed thatched house), a car port for two more cars, and ample space around for a few more cars

3-Bed Thatched Double Storey Guest House
The 3-bed guest house has two en-suite bedrooms with ample storage space in the bedrooms and a pantry. The lounge has a soft pine wooden finish from floor to wall, and has a door that leads to a covered balcony. A garage which is partly build at a lower level, has a door that leads into the kitchen. The guest house has its own sunset view from the smallest of the three bedrooms.

Your Immediate Surroundings
Previous guests have described the property as tranquil. It is a very peaceful environment with a lot of indigenous woodland including mazhanje trees and there is therefore also a lot of bird-life around.

There is a secure outdoor swimming pool for your use during those sunny days, as well as two large barbeque stands and many spots for outside socialising. We have two big outdoor lights for those that like a peaceful stroll in the garden at night.

House-Keeping and Grounds Maintenance
You have on hand a resident housekeeper. We are open to individual clients’ preferences as to the extent of housekeeping and general household chores services required. We offer daily cleaning and guests can advise times required or opt out if they prefer full privacy. Therefore, services like laundry, housekeeping and cleaning can be done for you if required and are also inclusive; please be sure to communicate your requirements at check-in.

Airport Shuttle Service- Arrivals and Departure
If you opt for this service, our shuttle service providers and partners will greet you on arrival if your port of arrival is the Harare International Airport. Please let us know in advance your flight details and what name you would like on the banner for your party for you to identify your driver. They will drive you to your holiday home. Also let us know in advance if you would like the shuttle service to take you back to the airport at the end of your stay, and likewise advise the time you would like to be collected from Kambanje, and your departure flight details. We have two vehicles available for car rental please let us know if you require use of a vehicle for part or all of your stay. This is at a separate additional cost.
