My place is 10 minutes walk to Robertsbridge Village and station. Dogs welcome. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the comfy bed, the footpaths, the fully equipped kitchen, and beautiful south facing views. The Dairy is a converted cowshed. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. A lovely place to get away to the country side for a relaxing weekend to enjoy 1066 country with its historic towns and villages, costal area and cosy village pubs.

The Dairy is part of a newly converted cowshed. Its design and furnishings are contemporary, modern and comfortable. Wi-fi, TV and DVD. A fully fitted kitchen includes a double oven, induction hob, fridge plus ice box, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle toaster, iron, hair dyer. Underfloor heating through out. The bedroom has en-suit wet room all with under floor heating. A king sized bed with crisp white linen. Fluffy towels supplied. Beautiful south facing views.

About the area

You are ideally situated for visiting our local historic gems: Pashley Manor, Bateman's, Great Dixter, Sissinghurst, with all their glorious gardens as well as Scotney and Bodiam Castles. The Victorian spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is 30 minutes away, Gatwick 1 Hour. Trains to London, Charing Cross (1 and 15 minutes away) and Hastings (20 minutes) and Tunbridge Wells (20 minutes away) run hourly from Robertsbridge station 10 minutes walk away. If you want to venture further afield, the channel tunnel - just an hour away it whisks you to France in 35 minutes, pre booking for the Channel Tunnel is advisable.
With glorious countryside all around us, walking and cycling directly from the house is great.
The South coast has everything from the vast open beaches of Camber Sands to the fishing ports like Rye and Hastings Old Town, Bexhill, Eastbourne and Brighton less than an hour away.
Local Towns and Villages to visit include:

Tenterden (approx 16 miles)
Battle (approx 6 miles)
Hastings (approx 12 miles)
Tunbridge Wells (approx 16 miles)
Bodiam (approx 6 miles)

A Few Ideas On Local Things To Do;-

Bewl Water is about 6 miles away. Bewl is the largest stretch of open water in the South East, it is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the heart of the High Weald.

You can cycle around Bewl from March to October, the entire track length is 12 and a half miles mainly on tracks with a few miles on quiet lanes.

Bewl is open to walkers all year round, please note to walk around the whole of Bewl will take approximately five to six hours and it is advised to carry water, food and a mobile phone.

Bewl Water Sports and Sailing Club
Rowing boats, pedal boats, paddle boards and Canadian canoes are all available to hire by the hour or for the whole day at Bewl Water. 10am-4pm (holidays and weekends only) Pre booking T: (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).
Canoeing is available all year round at Bewl Water. Hire a canoe from us and experience the freedom of ‘paddling your own canoe’ on selected areas of the reservoir. T: (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN).

Anglers can fish for trout and pike from around 9 miles of water shoreline or can hire a boat fully equipped with outboard motors.
