Yet it's private enough to offer an escape from the everyday. Truckee is decidedly local in flavor, offering a more authentic vibe than other towns in the region.

Parking notes: There is free parking for 2 vehicles. Please do not park on the streets of Tahoe Donner during winter. You risk getting towed for obstruction of snow plows.
