A beautiful contemporary self-contained apartment with your own kitchen, dishwasher, ensuite. Fully airconditioned. Situated only 3 minute walk from the Saturday Parap market and fifteen minute walk to the famous Mindal beach markets. Wonder down the road to the Trailer Boat Club to see the stunning sunset. Have a swim in the pool just outside your room.

- Plenty of storage space
- All appliances (fridge, oven, cooktop stove, microwave, TV with Netflix's + dvd & sound system and dishwasher)
- Coffee table and chairs for relaxing inside in front of the TV
- Outdoor chair setting overlooking the pool (just steps from your room)
- Private contemporary ensuite bathroom
- 50m walk to the nearest bus stop that will take you straight into the city, or just a 7 minute car ride.
- Sorry we know there are some late / early morning flights into Darwin but due to work commitments we are unable to meet you in the wee hours.

Breakfast will include cereals, yoghurt/milk and bread and will be made available for you in the villa upon your arrival. For long stays this facility will have to be replenished by yourself.

Topped off with beautiful polish concrete floors and Airconditioning. The pool is just outside your room to relax in. The pool is a share pool with the owners and maybe their family also. But guests are welcomed to jump in and join us if we are in. So you get a private villa in one of Darwins most sought after suburbs, just minutes from the CBD, food and craft markets (try a famous Territory Laksa), supermarkets and restaurants.

There is a coffee table in the room with comfortable chairs. There is no desk in the room as some people have asked for and I am sorry but we do not ever intend on getting one for the few who may use it.

The neighbourhood is one of the most sought after suburbs of inner-city Dariwn. A short car or bus ride to the city (with bus stop 50m from the house).

Your room is located a short 3 minute walk to the Saturday Parap Markets where you can peruse local arts and crafts or try some of the delicious local food including laksas, tropical fruits or surrounding cafes.

A 10 minute walk will take you to the local Trailer Boat Club where you can watch a famous Darwin sunset while trying some delicous seafood.

Hi I'm Annette. I've lived in Darwin for 36 years now and love the tropics. Yes it can get hot but I'd rather that than the cold. I live with my husband Neil and we've got four daughters - all now living elsewhere in Australia. We both love meeting people and are very easy to get along with. We love to travel having recently done Italy. Neil is ex-Army and likes walking. He is planning (one day) to do the Camino de Santiago trail. Neil wants to do the whole 400kms but I'm sticking to about four days max. We both love active holidays but 400kms is just too much for me!!

We both love sitting outside with a vino and some sultry music playing in the background, having a chat and catching up on the days events. We've got two small fluffy slippers (Shih Tzu / Maltese dogs) and I'll have to apologise in advance because the male is just plain mischievous and thinks everyone is immediately attracted to him.

We both love meeting people and with Airbnb we have met some amazing souls.

I will be situated in the main house and generally home after work and on weekends however the villa is completely seperate with access through a side gate so you really can come and go as you please.
