A very warm and welcoming home. Private bedroom with queen pillow top bed soft and cozy bedding washed in Armand Hammer dye free detergent for everyone's healthy skin. Little open closet hangers luggage rack bench seats extra heater wonderful natural light plugs next to each night stand for charging phone.
One bathroom Nice shower with good water pressure nice gets hot no tub. Plenty of room for everyone lots of towels, toiletries. Comfortable Fold down couch and pull out sofa chair in livingroom extra big Sleeping 4 easily as well if turn another couch for watching TV. All the extra bedding pillows provided on the Shelf in bedroom.
Full kitchen with coffee tea all cooking essentials spices cream pans toaster blender microwave and fridge freezer stove really everything other then a dishwasher nice rack soap clean sponge provided large sink I do check and sanitize after guest stay.
Dining area seats 4 menu's for town & calling to make reservations "always good around here "napkins.
Full size washer and dryer in sun room soap provided. Also extra beach or towel for Beach & messes. Warm or Cold living room heat pump has everything for temperature to fan with remote.
Plenty of seating roku TV Netflix. fast wi fi , lots of games, toys lego blocks safe. record player records for all taste. CD radio player hookup on back for phone.
There is a DVD player you can plug in. BBQ patio furniture outside. Small view of the bay and Astoria column Lights up at night. Tree swings even the hard hat swing fun for adults blackberrys when in season birds deer.
Plenty of parking easy entry. Cottage is Nicely stocked for every need. *Bigger step down to bedroom & bathroom can see in photo.* We had to drop floors to accommodate taller guests in this cute cottage.
The home is about 6 minutes (2 miles) or less to get to downtown with an amazing bay view while driving more then 1 way to get to town it's nice. The home is just outside city limit 1 mile to Astoria 2 to downtown pretty close to everything not far out in the country side. Map shows.
The Cottage is safe lots of beauty around this home. It is tucked up to woods so lots of wildlife to enjoy. Closer to main road will hear cars outside. Inside quieter especially at night not much activity. Driveway is flat gravel and grass has area to pull in out and large yard all private. I don't supply pack & play or crib or High chair for safety purposes * say guest broke I didn't notice and next guest injured * But all ages welcome will just need your own if not comfortable with my sleeping arrangements. Big percent of cleaning fee goes to Astoria's County Tax why more at this time Airbnb doesn't submit tax for me I collect separately.

Across from the cottage is the bay a small view through the trees nice quite area private A nice yard great swing for kids lots of Deer and birds surrounded by trees Astoria column is lit up at night can see it . Warm safe home everything you need. Close to town yet far enough away to feel Alone and peaceful. Couple great markets Deli if later quick just a perfect spot.

We graced the cover of our local newspaper as one of the first Airbnb's.
Drew is an amazing carpenter with the kids enjoys being outdoors, road trips, animal's hiking photography, Very creative and all pretty easy going. I like being busy with projects decorating and yes cleaning.
Our town is peaceful feeling of safety is important & Astoria has given us that.
We hope you feel safe inspired & have fun when staying.
