This cozy ground floor room in the historic Tyler Adams House (c. 1844) is convenient to downtown and WKU and is a great alternative to the standard fare. We are a short drive to Mammoth Cave, and Nashville is a little over an hour away, making us an ideal HQ to explore the area. Walk to WKU campus and Fountain Square. Mini fridge and private bath! NO SMOKING on our entire campus.

This room features its own private entrance, and a private bathroom. Your room is equipped with a mini-refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Note that this is a no smoking property. There is a smart TV in the room, but we have "cut the cord" and offer a selection of over the air channels. You will have access to our common areas through the interior door. The downstairs (shared) living room, kitchen, and laundry are all located just down the hall.

David is our innkeeper. He lives on the first floor in unit 3. He keeps the place secure and is there to assist with your needs during your stay.

We are the Tyler Adams House located in the College Hill Historic District of Bowling Green near Western KY University (WKU) . Numerous restaurants and shops are close by. The downtown area of Bowling Green is undergoing a renaissance, and this apartment is in the middle of it! This unit is uniquely located in a convenient location whether you are travelling for business or pleasure. Walk up State Street in one direction and you will soon reach the WKU campus. Walk the other way and you will be on historic Fountain Square. Keep walking and you will soon reach Circus Square and SKY Pac. Head one block over to Chestnut Street and you can dine at the Mellow Mushroom. Head over to College street and “The Bistro” is ready to serve you elegant meals.

We are a couple of empty-nesters from Bowling Green KY who are passionate about making the world a more sustainable place. We are excited to offer our properties to you! We are active in the Sierra Club and have adopted a vegan diet. We love to meet fellow travelers and provide them with an alternative to the standard cookie cutter lodgings. We have stayed in AirBnBs in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US. We have two adult children, a daughter in Australia and a Son in Colombia.
Tom is a former Computer Engineer who started a real estate company, Sustainnovators LLC in 2012. Stephanie is an English Instructor who helps with the real estate as well.
In 2013, we bought the historic Tyler Adams House in downtown Bowling Green. This home is now restored and we are pleased to offer this home to airbnb guests!
We also are offering the farm home that Tom grew up in as a longer term stay. Check it out if you want to stay a month or more in Bowling Green. Also, we offer our personal home for those times when our other properties are filled, or for those who want a more suburban experience.
Also helping us are Chuck and David. David lives on the property and helps with guests, while Chuck is a real estate agent who helps in general with properties.
