Charming updated Casita in Uptown. Walk to one of the city's largest malls, restaurants, Albuquerque's only piano bar, and more in 5-15 minutes. Ride up the Sandia Peak Tram (the longest US aerial tram) for access to winter skiing and a 100-mile breathtaking panoramic view. Immerse yourself in multiple cultures: Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and National Hispanic Cultural Center are less than 15 minutes away; Old Town Albuquerque, downtown and UNM are 10 minutes away!

L-ispazju
The location of our 1000 square feet Casita is near the center of the city, close to I-40, two shopping malls, a large range of restaurants, and an I-Max theater, many of which are within walking distance. The place is stylishly decorated in southwestern charm where you will feel welcome and comfortable. The kitchen boasts a range of appliances including a slow cooker, blender, microwave, and toaster oven, among others. If you want know if we have a specific item, please ask! We recently updated the Internet to high speed access.

Aċċess għall-klijenti
You will have run of the Casita as you wish, with the exception of one closet and the sheds in the back yard. There is nothing of value in the closet or sheds, just cleaning and maintenance items.

Affarijiet oħra li għandek tagħti kas
NO DOGS OR CATS ALLOWED BECAUSE OWNER IS HIGHLY ALLERGIC!

We are taking extra care to disinfect thoroughly between guests due to COVID-19.

You may hear noises on the ceiling. The ceiling is the underside of the roof so the boards will expand and contract with changing temperature levels. We assure you there is no cause for concern.

Occasionally, an airplane will go overhead but you probably won't notice when you are inside.

The backyard is safe for children, though it is not landscaped yet. You may want to sit under the gazebo (cover in place only seasonally) in the back yard and enjoy the beautiful sunsets unique to New Mexico.

Albuquerque is in the high desert and we have two things in nature you may not see much of where you live: more dirt than green and a variety of insects. The best way to combat the dust that will inevitably come from the dirt is to keep windows and doors closed during windy times. Please do not close windows that are cracked open when you arrive. Windows that are cracked open help the evaporative cooler run more efficiently. If you close the windows, the house can't breathe and the cooler will not operate properly.

We have a professional spray for insects. Sometimes in the days following treatments, we see a few corpses in the house or on the porch. Please do not be alarmed but do let us know. Should you see anything alive, our insect professional, Alex, will gladly go out and take care of them for you upon request. His card is in the house notebook in front of the TV. Also, please let us know so we can work with him on appropriate future treatments.

Albuquerque, New Mexico, l-Istati Uniti

The neighborhood is in walking distance to one of the largest shopping malls in New Mexico (Coronado Center, 5-minute walk), the newly built ABQ Uptown (12-minute walk), an outdoor luxury shopping mall, and Uptown Funk Dueling Pianos, the only Piano Bar in Albuquerque (15-minute walk). The area is located such that getting around town shouldn't take more than about 15 to 20 minutes to reach almost anywhere in the city in regular traffic. Rio Rancho is about 30 minutes away. Belen and the top of Sandia Peak are both less than an hour away.

We are Mike and Debbie Taylor, also known as Team Taylor. We are native New Mexicans, by choice, but love to travel and see new things. Debbie is a foodie and loves to cook. She is often caught trying to figure out what is in a dish so she can duplicate it at home. Mike is a helper bunny and has been described as the kind of person who would cut off his own leg to help another man walk. His motto is, "I have a truck and, yes, I will help you move." Both of us are active with the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, where we volunteer as Launch Directors, lovingly known as Zebras because of the black and white uniforms we wear. Basically, we are ground controllers for Balloon Fiesta and the balloons do not launch without our thumbs up. We would be happy to educate you on the back scenes of Fiesta. To learn about Fiesta, visit (Website hidden by Airbnb) As New Mexicans, we live the state question, "red or green?" Don't know what that means? Come to New Mexico and you will! We enjoy good food, good wine, and good times with good people. If you choose to get to know us, we will show you around Albuquerque!
