Welcome to our family's home in the heart of the scenic Dadès Valley, where you can experience the local lifestyle and taste delicious specialties prepared with fresh organic produce from nearby gardens. With traditional Berber-style décor, mud-brick kasbah charm and a rooftop terrace with views of lush green gardens as well as stunning red rocks called the Monkey's Fingers, Tafsut Guesthouse is the perfect retreat to relax and recharge.

The house has recently been renovated with natural elements from mud constructions and wall decorations to hand-woven reed ceilings and wooden room furniture. The colourful carpets, cosy blankets, lamps and other typical Berber decorative elements passed from generation to generation give the space extra charm. All rooms feature a private bathroom with a shower and comfortable beds.

The guesthouse is located in the middle of a quiet Berber village Tamellalt, right in front of the renowned Monkey's Fingers rocks. Tamellalt is an excellent starting point for walks in the gardens along the Dadès river, exploring the canyons of the valley and hiking in the surrounding mountains.

I grew up in the Dades valley and have worked here as a mountain guide specialising in trekking for more than 6 years. In my free time I enjoy adventure of any kind, music, sports, learning about herbs and insightful conversations.

Last year our family's traditional Berber home was renovated to accommodate guests and let you experience the everyday life in the valley with my family. You can visit our gardens with us, pick the fruits and vegetables when in season, we can teach you how to cook traditional food and make Berber henna tattoos for you.
