Grab the included chairs & umbrella, sit on the beach & unwind.
Revive in the outdoor shower after a beach day & take a stroll to collect shells & watch dolphins🐬 playing in the waves.
Dine out or "chef it" on the grill (seasonal) or kitchenette & end the day in the comfy queen bed.

Freshly painted, new floors, and decor for 2022, our multi-room apartment suite is just across from the Atlantic Ocean on a quiet beach road! This is not a hotel, efficiency, studio, camp trailer, or noisy and crowded condo. The first-floor apartment at the Works4Me Beach House has a separate, secure coded keypad entrance and off-street parking for one vehicle.
We designed this tastefully beach-themed space to be a true "home away from home." The comfortable furnishings and amenities make this the perfect place to relax and revive along the Atlantic Ocean. 🐚 🐠 🐳

The bedroom 💤 has a comfy queen bed, dresser, and closet for hanging items. The attached bathroom has a shower--but you'll likely prefer the enclosed outdoor shower 🚿.
The kitchenette is equipped with a Keurig coffee maker ☕ and a starter supply of pods, refrigerator with ice and filtered water service, microwave, table-top oven (can accommodate baking pans and even a 16-inch pizza!), cooktop, dishes, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and tools for creating culinary creations or warming up delights from one of the many local recommended restaurants.
The bookshelves offer reading options 📖 perfect for enjoying on the lounge chairs on the back deck, or stay in and catch a movie or show on the 50 inch HDTV (Sling TV, Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, or Amazon Prime). Board games and cards add to the "at home" entertainment choices.
Of course with the beach just steps away, strolls along the ocean are irresistible and offer spectacular sights including dolphin 🐬, birds, sandfiddler crabs 🦀, boats ⛵, folks looking to reel in a big catch 🎣, shells 🐚 for collecting, and the most spectacular sunrises 🌅 and purple and pink painted sunsets on the East Coast!

Sandbridge is a quiet, family-oriented Atlantic coastline community. Sandbridge is the Virginia portion of the Outer Banks and is isolated enough to enjoy the peaceful environment and unwind, but close enough to restaurants, shopping, golf, and other attractions for those wanting different scenery.
Don & Laurie Ann fell in love with Sandbridge on their first visit in 2003 and have been full-time residents since 2015.

Laurie Ann and I are Airbnb hosts who love the beach and relaxing as we travel. We are the proud parents of 3 grown children, two of whom are married--meaning we have 5 grown children! We are also the proud grandparents to "baby girl" born in November 2019 and "baby boy" is due in summer 2022.
As Airbnb hosts, we like to make our guests feel welcome in our home by providing a private, cozy, and separate apartment space. We interact with our guests to the level they feel comfortable; either taking time to visit and chat, or leave them to themselves.
Our goal is to be a blessing to all who visit our property and to build new relationships!
