Welcome to The Vintner`s House in Hammondsport! Located within a block of the town square in this small village, this house is special indeed! Hammondsport has been voted the `America`s Coolest Small Town` and is full of old, quaint homes, fantastic restaurants and fun store fronts and shops.

The Vintner`s Place has some fantastic history and was built in the early 1900`s. Much of the house is still original and boasts lovely trim details. The house is a Sears and Roebuck house, which means that the original owner chose, and purchased, the house from the Sears catalog, the pieces were all packaged and shipped via rail car to the house site, and the house was put together like a giant puzzle with numbered pieces. An interesting piece of history!

Inside The Vintner`s House, you’ll be excited to find a lovely newly remodeled, fully furnished kitchen with new appliances! The kitchen has an eat-in dining area and attached butler`s pantry.

The Living room is partially open to the dining area and kitchen, and has an attached small sitting area with the sweetest little gas fireplace...cozy spot for having a glass of wine and watching the fire glow.

There is a full bath located just off of the Living Room with an old claw foot soaker tub and shower.

Upstairs you’ll find 3 cozy bedrooms, one large Master bedroom with a Queen size bed and two additional bedrooms with Double beds. There is also an additional sitting room/library room upstairs. The Master bedroom has it`s own balcony facing the yard and the Library room also has doors onto a balcony overlooking the street...wonderful places to sit, relax, have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, and enjoy the slower pace of life in Hammondsport. There is a second full bath located upstairs, outside of the Master bedroom. This bath has a standup shower and a washer/dryer for you to use during your stay.

The back yard is small and quiet. There is a charcoal BBQ grill for you to use, as well as a firepit.

The location of the house will not disappoint – far enough off the main street to give you quiet on your vacation but close enough to walk downtown and explore the restaurants, shops and attractions in Hammondsport. The house is a short 5 minute walk from Keuka lake and there are several places to rent or put a kayak or boat in the water as well as a park to enjoy at the end of the lake.

We love this little corner of Hammondsport. The Vintner`s House is tucked into a quiet neighborhood surrounded by older homes. The house is just a short walk from the town square and Keuka Lake.

We are a husband and wife vacation rental management team from the Finger Lakes and we are excited to have you book your vacations with us and with our our hospitality company, Linger Hospitality.

Our heart really belongs here, we think it is one of the most beautiful spots in the country. We are raising our brood of 4 children here, on a small farmette that currently is home to two crazy Weimeraners and a flock of chickens. We live, overlooking one of the lakes, and because we get to watch the sun rise and set over the lake day in and day out, we know that you will love it just as much as we do! We love the culture of our communities here and are excited to be part of the community through our vacation rental business. We have watched these small towns grow to support the up and coming food, wine, and beer industries that are a huge part of what makes the Finger Lakes special, as well as the laid back lake culture, and anticipate a wonderful future serving our guests that come through this region to enjoy all of these and more. We strive to make our guests feel as at-home and welcomed here as any local would feel. We look forward to serving you!
