This luxurious and spacious newly remodeled studio beach house, ideal for a couple looking to get away from the touristy Waikiki and explore the sunny side of Oahu. Set above a huge back yard, with beautiful ocean and mountain views just steps from world famous Makaha Surfing Beach. Swim and snorkel with dolphins, watch whales breach on the horizon... sunbake on empty beaches or play in the waves with the sea turtles... this is the true Hawaii experience.

This property is a legally established dwelling that is rented for periods of 30 consecutive days or more at any one time.

Look out over the 1/4 acre lot into a lush garden with dramatic Waianae mountain range surrounding you... from the deck you have a view of the beautiful ocean and the iconic Makaha surf break, outdoor seating for dining or relaxing, and a garden patio with lounge chairs, fire pit and a BBQ. Also, many seasonal fruit trees which (depending on the season) can provide fresh Mango, Avocado, Passion Fruit (Lilikoi), Kumquat, Dragon Fruit, Papaya, Pomegranate, Limes, Lemons and Oranges. Or pick a flower from the plumeria tree to place in your hair. This is a sanctuary away from the madness of everyday life. (Something to Note: We have had a few guests that have had issues with the street lights and with the noise of the local bus which does run 24/7 and passes right outside the home near the bedroom window. For most guests these things are not issues, but for light sleepers it can be somewhat disruptive and takes away from the secluded country vibe. We do offer ear plugs, and we suggest if you are sensitive to light, to consider bringing a sleep mask.)

We are steps away from Makaha Beach, also moving further west up Farrington Highway are the beautiful empty beaches at Makua, Pray for Sets and Yokohama Bay. There is also an 18 hole golf course in the valley and a short drive will bring you to Waianae town which has a variety of grocery stores and local restaurants.

Roland and Tabitha moved to the far west side of Oahu to get away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. On their small 1/3 acre they enjoy gardening and growing their own fruit... Travelling, Snorkeling, Hiking and Surfing is where they find their happiness... They rent the upper portion of their beautiful home. Their favorite places to visit are Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, Japan and Spain. Please feel free to reach out to them for any information or questions.
