The following are forbidden:
1 An owner or occupant shall not enter the building or his section severely intoxicated or under the influence
of drugs or with an illegal or immoral intent.
2 No anti-social behaviour of any kind shall be tolerated.
3 No smoking or consumption of alcohol will be permitted on the common property, including foyers, lifts,
stairways, garages, walkways and the basement.
4 Residents shall not litter on the common property and garden areas.
5 No disposal of refuse or boxes except in designated areas.
6 No animals or pets may be kept in any part of the building.
7 No foreign objects or fluids (i.e. Sanitary towels, tampons, condoms, plastic bags, plastic containers, metal or
wooden objects or cooking oil/fat) should be flushed down toilets or drains.
8 No braaing or fires are allowed in or on balconies, stoeps, terraces, exclusive use areas, gardens or yards or
any part of the common property.
9 An owner or occupier of a section shall not erect his own washing lines, nor hang washing or laundry or any
other items on any part of the building or common property to be visible from outside the buildings or from
any other sections. No clothes or other items may be hung over balcony walls or in windows or corridors or
any other areas visible to public or other occupants.
10 Should any owner wish to install an air-conditioner in his unit, prior approval of placement must be obtained
from the managing agent.
11 Bicycles, motor cycles, tricycles, roller skates, skate boards, etc may not be used on any portion of common
property. Motor cycles and bicycles may only be used as formal transport to enter and leave the basement
parking area.
12 Firearms may not be discharged in a section or any part of the common property, except under such
circumstances which would reasonably justify the use of a firearm for self-defence in a court of law.
13 No business professions or trades may be conducted on any part of the common property or in a section
registered as a residential unit.
14 No owner or occupier of a residential unit shall place or distribute any sign, notice, billboard or advertisement
of any kind whatsoever on any part of the common property or of a section to be visible from the outside.
15 No display or notices of a political or religious nature will be tolerated.
16 Tampering with any security or fire-fighting equipment or systems is not permitted.
17 Activities of any kind which may jeopardise the safety of any person or any area in any way whatsoever.

Fire alarms and emergency evacuation plans:
1 Owners and occupants must respond to any fire alarm. Never assume that it is a false alarm.
2 Never leave your apartment unattended while cooking.
3 Make sure your cooker is turned off after cooking and before leaving your apartment.
4 It is advisable to have a fire extinguisher in your apartment.
5 An emergency evacuation plan depicting the emergency escape route is posted on each level. Owners and occupants to familiarise themselves with these plans and ensure they know where the fire escape is situated.
Penalties - As per the Conduct Rules (Rule 38 – Breach and imposition of Penalties) of the Body Corporate, penalties may be imposed:

In event of criminal or other disturbance or emergency please contact the applicable police and emergency services departments.
The following are prohibited specifically in the carparks and other external areas:
1 Driving lessons, Skate boarding, scooters, BMX activities or roller-blading
2 Dumping of rubbish
3 Distribution of flyers
4 Washing of vehicles
5 Vehicle repairs
6 Storage of vehicles or canopies
The Body Corporate reserves its right to amend the House Rules from time to time without prior notice.
