This unique 2-bedroom beachfront penthouse with a private terrace is in the heart of Asala district. Walk to the start of the touristic promenade (Eel Garden) in 5 minutes, or go local by visiting the close by Asala market. Witness breathtaking sunrises laying on the terrace hammock, or get a tan on the sun beds provided. The kitchen is fully equipped, with amenities ranging from coffee maker to washing machine.

The apartment is part of a building that has 5 apartments in total. The building has 3 floors, and the apartment is on the top floor.

You will have your own terrace with a hammock, sun beds, outdoor chairs... a lot of options to choose from when it's time to relax ;)

The terrace also comes with a functional BBQ grill, and the coal for the grill is provided in the apartment.

IMPORTANT notice - for guests arriving to Sharm El Sheikh airport late at night with the Turkish Airlines or Pegasus flight:

1. Since this a late night flight (arrival between 2 - 3 am), I will not be available to check you in since i will be sleeping :) However, I can arrange to give the key to a trusted taxi driver who can pick you up, then I can meet you next morning to say hello and answer any questions you might have. The taxi driver charges the local rate, which is 500 EGP (as of July 2019) - and you can also pay him in EUR, USD or GBP. I do not get a commission/percentage from this, the money goes to the driver.

2. Please make sure to book the night of your arrival. For example, if your flight arrives at 1:50 am on the January 2nd, your booking should start on January 1st.

The apartment is located in Asala neighborhood, which is famous for its local Asala market. The neighborhood is very quiet, yet just a 5 minute walk to the start of the touristic promenade (Eel garden), and a 15 minute walk along the beach to the Light House (the busiest part of the promenade). I'm a 35 year old guy who left the busy city life in 2012 for a more serene lifestyle. After 6 years of managing a popular Design Hotel in the beach city of Dahab, Egypt, I decided to expand my hospitality experience through my 6 beachfront holiday apartments that I designed myself. Other than interior design, my interests include playing the piano, traveling, and yoga :) I use airbnb for hosting and for traveling. Both hosts and guests have expectations from each other, and both rate each other accordingly (guests' scores are only visible to hosts; a guest can't see their own score. The 3 criteria that guests are rated on are: respecting house rules, cleanliness, and communication). Here's a list of things you can expect from me as a host, as well as my idea of an ideal guest: What to expect from me as a host: - A clean, accurate, and well-maintained place that provides all the necessary amenities to ensure your maximum comfort. - Good communication and fast response time to any issues that may arise during or before your stay. - A customized guidebook for each apartment with recommendations, to help you make the most out of your vacation :) My idea of an ideal guest (when I'm hosting and when I'm traveling as a guest): - Respecting the house rules (eg. no smoking, no parties, etc) - Cleanliness (guests are not expected to deep clean the apartment before leaving, but doing the basic things like washing dishes and taking out the trash is generally appreciated). - Communication: Being precise is essential (eg. sharing exact arrival info in advance to give the host enough time to plan) - and being concise is key (efficient communication by limiting back and forth messaging).
