A fully equipped, high-spec holiday cottage comprising large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, with breathtaking views from feature corner windows, a spacious double bedroom and a fully equipped bathroom.
The living space offers a wood-burning stove, smart TV with bluetooth-enabled sound bar, whilst the kitchen is fully equipped with oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
The bedroom has a king-size divan bed, wall mounted TV and built-in wardrobes.
The bathroom is complete with walk-in shower, bath and basin unit.
Central heating and wifi throughout.

You will have sole access to the whole property including its own private garden with garden furniture and barbecue facilities.
Outside there are washing facilities and secure, undercover storage for bikes etc.
You will also have access to your own washing machine and hanging line

We aim to provide basic welcome supplies for you on arrival and would appreciate you letting us know your preference of red or white wine or fizz.
This was a new build in January 2019, the lawns are now fully grown in giving full access to the garden, terrace, outside seating and barbecue .
In very severe winter conditions access from Staveley village to The Lookout can be challenging, particularly if you do not have a four-wheel drive vehicle.
Under such rare circumstances we might suggest parking in the village or part way up the hill and we will collect you so that you can access The Lookout until you are able to bring your car up the hill.
We would ask that you bear this in mind when making a booking in the winter months.

The Lookout@BruntKnott is located 1.5 miles from Staveley village.
Staveley is a vibrant village with four cafes, a great pub/pub food, a brewery bar, a well-stocked Spar, post office, chemist, an artisan bakery, an antiques shop, a fish & chip shop and much more! With its lovely local walks (riverside, woodland and hills) and excellent links to other parts of the Lake District, Staveley is a perfect base for a holiday or short break.
It is also an excellent centre for mountain biking and fell walking with direct access to the extensive network of cycle trails covering the Kentmere Valley and Lakeland's south eastern fells. Wheelbase in the village offers bike hire, and sales, for all tastes.
One of the classic high level ridge walks of the Lake District, the Kentmere Horseshoe, is on the doorstep.
Further walks and cycling trails are accessible directly from your cottage door.
