L-ispazju
Llwynbwch Barn is well equipped for family and friends.

Living room
The open-plan, airy living room has a vaulted ceiling with beams and skylights, letting the sun or star light stream in. The large woodburner is a central feature with its spectacular chimney, providing a lovely focal point for evenings, or chilling after a day out. You'll find a selection of board games and books, along with a smart TV and wifi. Patio doors lead out into the garden.

Kitchen
The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washer/ dryer, iron & ironing board and plenty of pots, pans, baking equipment and all the crockery & cutlery you'll need during your stay.

Bedrooms
The cosy main bedroom has lots of character. The door has beautiful handmade stained glass details. The double bed is handcrafted with timber from Llwynbwch Farm and is made up with high quality bedding, ensuring a good night's sleep. There's also a lovely little woodburner to keep you snug, bedside tables, an antique wardrobe and DAB clock/radio. Doors from the bedroom give you access into the garden.

Upstairs from the kitchen is a light and airy twin mezzanine bedroom with standard single beds. These can be placed together to create a double sized bed if required. There's also a chest of drawers and a blanket box in this room. Please note that some of the walls are sloping in this room, however the main area has plenty of headroom.

Bathrooms
The main bathroom has a large wetroom shower and there is an additional cloakroom wc near the main bedroom.

Garden
Llwynbwch Barn has a pretty, private garden, thoughtfully planted with native species. It faces west to catch the sun setting over the Fan, the nearby peak and has a table and chairs and a small wildlife pond.

Bedding and towels
All bedding and towels are provided.

Firewood
All firewood is provided. Firewood is sustainably grown and harvested from our land.

Children, babies and toddlers
We're well equipped for children, babies and toddlers. A travel cot, highchair, toddler crockery & cutlery, baby bath and fireguards are all available on request. The wildlife pond in the garden has fencing around it. Please note that all children must be supervised at all times whilst in Llwynbwch Barn, its garden and around the land.

The layout of Llwynbwch Barn is perfect for anyone with mobility issues. All doorways are wide, giving access for wheelchairs. The toilet near the master bedroom has handrails. All rooms are on the ground floor, with no steps, apart from the twin mezzanine bedroom which is upstairs.

Eco credentials
Llwynbwch Barn has strong green credentials with solar PV, sheep’s wool insulation, lime plaster and a living roof on the limed extension. The barn is furnished mainly with antique and mid-century pieces. We use only earth friendly cleaning products. We are very proud to have been awarded Green Key, a voluntary eco-label awarded to more than 3200 hotels and guest establishments in 65 countries. In 2018 we were very happy to be awarded Silver Award for Sustainable Tourism Business of the Year in the 2018/19 Carmarthenshire Tourism Awards.

Parking
There is guest parking in front of the barn for up to 2 vehicles. Please note that the access road to the barn is down an unmade track - it may not be best suited to very low vehicles.

You are welcome to explore the land at Llwynbwch, which is made up of wildflower meadows and woodland. Please be careful to close all gates behind you. We have Exmoor ponies grazing the land, whilst they are friendly please do not feed them and please give them respect and space at all times.
A footpath runs through the land and onwards towards the small village of Llansadwrn. The village pub offers a warm welcome and is about a 25 minute walk through the fields.

Fejn se tkun

Carmarthenshire, Wales, ir-Renju Unit

The barn is just outside of Llansadwrn, a pretty village with a friendly pub. Nearby is the village of Llangadog with a couple of good pubs serving food. About fifteen minutes drive are the friendly market towns of Llandovery and Llandeilo, both with a good range of cafes, restaurants, pubs and lovely shops. National Trust Dinefwr, near Llandeilo is a good day out, as is stunning Castle Carreg Cennen, perched high on a hill with incredible views. We're minutes from the Brecon Beacons National Park, with access to incredible walking and hiking. The National Botanic Garden of Wales and Dryslwyn castle are both great local days out. There are plenty of breath-taking beaches, such as Carmarthenshire's Llansteffan, Pembrey and also the Gower, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion coastlines all about an hour's drive.
As we are in the Brecon Beacons Dark Sky Reserve, we are lucky to have amazing night skies with incredible stargazing. You can often see the Milky Way and at the right time of year, meteor showers such as the Perseids are an incredible sight. We ask our guests to respect this by switching off any unnecessary lights in the evenings and nighttime. Thankyou.
