This non-smoking, 81 m2, two bedroom apartment is situated at a preferential site
of Limassol, one hundred meters to the seashore, in the heart of the
cosmopolitan Germasogeia tourist area. Leave the car behind and
venture out as this listing is an easy stroll to a selection of desirable amenities.
Just 5 minutes’ drive from the apartment or a couple of bus stops along the
beach front road, there is a choice of organized sandy beaches.

This family owned, first floor holiday apartment, located in a 40 year old complex,
was completely renovated to high standards, in a tasteful, nostalgic style in July
2019. Old World Charm is not only an ideal holiday home with unique aesthetic. It is also ideal for visitors who work from home with amenities like: laptop-friendly workplace with a comfortable chair, strong wifi, natural light, and no traffic noise. The balcony overlooking a yard can also serve as an alternate workplace.
Vintage, hardwood furniture, and decorative items have been extensively
refurbished and given a second chance as part of a culture of reusing.
The open plan French kitchen is equipped with all the facilities for a self- catering
holiday plus a dishwasher. All rooms are air-conditioned and feature colonial
style, wooden ceiling fans for a more eco-friendly option to keeping cool.
Additionally, energy efficient, soundproofed, uPVC windows, full black-out
shutters and solar water heating have been incorporated for a comfortable
accommodation. Both bedrooms include free standing wardrobes. The open
plan living room is equipped with a 43 inch Android TV and Netflix and opens to a balcony overlooking the communal garden, perfect for breakfast or a chill-out drink in the evening. The bathroom features a walk-in shower with a wall mounted shower
head and classic design sanitary ware and accessories. High t/c bedlinen and

There is a well-lit area round the communal garden to the entrance of the building. The apartment is on the first floor and is accessible by an elevator and a wide staircase. There are no stairs or steps in the apartment. There is only a 10 cm step to enter the walk-in shower.

The interest starts with the building itself. The Castle Holiday Complex,
comprising four apartment buildings and a hotel (now the exclusive office
premises of an international business center) was built in the 80s, at the big bang
in construction boom in Germasogeia that transformed the rural, orchard filled
outskirts into the bustling tourist and business hub of today. A building easily
recognized by its style and structure represented a landmark of the area.
Starting from the complex you can easily get around Limassol by car, bus or
taxi for a local experience. If you prefer to wander around on foot, this is the best
location, situated only a few minutes’ walk to an array of fine restaurants as well
as fast food franchised outlets and cafeterias. You can also find local and ethnic
food marts and convenience stores. Pharmacies, taxi stations, car and bike
rentals, ATMs, laundry service, are all steps away from the listing.
The Mediterranean Sea is only 100 metres from the apartment, just across the
beach road. However, just 2 kilometres away, there are several organized
beaches with sunbeds, umbrellas, changing rooms, showers, water sports and
restaurants. Access is easy by bike, bus or car with car-parking available and a
bus stop located nearby.

The renovating process of this apartment has been like writing an autobiography. Every little detail reveals aspects of my personality, lifestyle, environmental concerns and family history. Living in the 21 st century is difficult to stick to environmental values. However, during the renovation of the apartment decisions were taken focusing on technologies that reduce energy and water consumption. Beautiful, vintage furniture, including a handcrafted four-poster bed, escaped the landfill disposal, and was extensively refurbished to ensure they meet the needs and class standards of a 21 st century holiday apartment. Decorative items were upcycled, given a second chance and proudly present themselves in the apartment. Look forward to hosting business travelers or holiday makers who share my concerns and lifestyle.
