Ever wonder what it's like to stay in an RV?
We have a nice 25 foot RV parked in our driveway for you to use.
You have access to the RV and our back yard and pool.
As well, there's a nice, tropical corner of the back yard you can hang out and enjoy.
Chickens, quails, dogs, and more. Enjoy the pets.

We are about 15 driving minutes to the beach (about 30 to Clearwater Beach), about 25 minutes to downtown St Pete, 30 minutes to Clearwater, and about 30 minutes to Tampa.

L-ispazju
This 25 foot RV has what you need. An over-the-air TV (antenna), a nice sound system, air conditioning, a plug-in space heater, microwave/convection oven, cook top, sink, refrigerator with freezer, shower, toilet, Wi-Fi, 6 USB charging ports, and 3 bed areas. (Describing the bed sizes was a bit tough.)

PLEASE NOTE: Not reading the following about the bed sizing is where this could get uncomfortable for you. (As well, read the other "PLEASE NOTE" section about the shower area in the paragraphs below.)

-The overhead bed is longer than a standard bed, but is close to a queen and can sleep two.
-The jackknife sofa folds out and can sleep one adult or two small children. (The weight capacity of this bed is 300 lbs total, maxing out at 150 lbs on the outer edge when folded out.)
-The table can convert to a bed as well, but is shorter than a regular bed. One or two kids, or a shorter person can sleep here.

2 to 3 adults should be able to sleep comfortably. Possibly up to 5 with smaller kids. I'd say the following combinations would work comfortably:

-Up to 3 adults or larger-sized people, unless really tall, then possibly 2 (maybe an uncomfortable 3).
--(That would be 2 sleeping in the bunk and 1 on the sofa bed, OR 1 in the bunk, 1 on the sofa bed, 1 on the dinette bed.)

-2 adults or larger-sized people and up to 4 smaller children OR 3 bigger kids.
--(That's 2 adults in the bunk and 2 on the sofa bed and 2 on the dinette bed)

-1 adult and up to 4 smaller children consisting of 2 bigger kids.
--(That's 1 adult on the sofa bed, 2 larger kids in the bunk together, and 2 children on the dinette bed.)

The driveway is slightly sloped, so the RV isn't parked perfectly flat. The RV is on blocks to level it out.

There are gates leading to our back yard (please keep the gates closed). You'll have access to the pool (with a bit of notice for us to uncover it). Most days in the summer it's in the mid-to-high 80 degrees. The pool temperature from November to perhaps December it might be in the 80s or mid 70s. Then from December to maybe March it can get as low as 50 some nights, warming up to the high 70s on occasion. So, if you're looking for a warm winter dip, it might be a bit of a shock.

We have a nice corner of the yard with bamboo, banana trees (actually plantain), a sea hibiscus, and other tropical plants to make for a relaxing getaway corner. Grass is difficult to grow in winter, but we seed this occasionally to minimize the dirt look.

We also have a separate enclosed side yard area, about 5 feet by 30 feet. This would be a nice area if you want your own separate space without feeling like you're in our area. This would also be an acceptable area to allow a dog be without a leash. (If you want to bring a dog, please ask us before-hand... we do have a few restrictions about that. No cats, please.)

There's a shower in the RV, but if you want to shower in the outdoor shower by the pool, please be at least partially clothed.

PLEASE NOTE: As for the RV bathroom, please be aware that the shower stall headroom and the shower head height may not be best for taller persons. It will be a bit of an inconvenience if you are tall. Also, the toilet is a bit smaller and cramped than a standard household toilet. It's adequate, but small. Further, the holding tanks are limited in size, meaning long showers are not going to happen here. We will drain the tanks regularly, but they only hold so much waste water. Search for "how to shower in an RV" to get an idea of what you'll be up against.

We have chickens, quail (caged), dogs, and a cat (that is sometimes outside). There will be the occasional poop in the yard, and for that we apologize in advance. (Your dog would not be allowed in our back yard due to our own animals needing their area.)

We will have ice cubes in the freezer for you, some pre-ground home-roasted coffee, utensils, linens, toilet paper, games, and Wi-Fi access.

The carpet gets shampooed between every guest.

All of the RV is available, none of the outdoor storage areas. The RV will not be driven around, that's off limits. Usage of the generator and the central heat is off limits. Our back yard is open to you. No access to our screened-in porch or our house.

Affarijiet oħra li għandek tagħti kas
The heat is a plug-in space-heater. Winters in Florida get cold, so this may be fine for some, but may not be enough for others. We've always found it to be fine for our family.

The waste water tanks are limited in capacity, so constant running of water, or long showers don't work well in the RV.

The chickens in the back yard are occasionally noisy.

The black water tank can give off some odours if not attended to. We plan on dumping every day, and providing toilet pods for the smell, but occasionally the smell will waft into the RV after a flush. There's an overhead fan to help contain the odours to the bathroom.

We are centrally located in Pinellas County. The beaches are about 15 minutes (driving) away. Restaurants are about 5 minutes away. Downtown St Petersburg is about 25 minutes. Clearwater Beach is about half an hour. Tampa's Ybor City is 30 to 40 minutes. There's plenty to do around here.

We are a family of 3. (Another daughter has 2 children, so that makes us grandparents.) I, Gilles, am a Canadian. I am married to Jenni. She's from Virginia. We moved to Florida to enjoy nature and get away from the hustle and bustle of Northern Virginia. We have several pets. We discovered RVing in 2012. We bought a used 1994 Chevy Damon Hornet and put some work into prepping the RV and planning out a trip with the family. We went to California, up to Canada, across to Ontario, and back. It was about 10,000 miles over 30 days, and I can say those were the BEST 30 days of my life, hands down! We saw the Grand Canyon, Hollywood, the redwoods, the Canadian Rockies, and plenty of family. I am a locksmith by trade. Jenni is a pet sitter, graphic designer, cake baker, and (extreme) couponer. Our long-term plans are to eventually travel in an RV and explore this great continent we have.

We can help get you settled and figure out a few things about the RV. We plan on filling the fresh water daily and pumping out the grey and black water so you don't really need to worry about that. We're available to answer questions, and you're welcome to socialize with us in the back yard if we're out.
