Ericeira Surf Camp is nestled in the heart of old town Ericeira, a beautiful surfing/ fishing village overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It is famous for its beaches, excellent seafood, constant swells, and weekend parties during the summer. It is also known as one of 4 World Surfing Reserve sites and there are over 20 world-class surfing spots for all skill levels within a short drive from our school & camp. We are 10-min walk from the bus station and we offer free street parking and free WiFi.

Our surf camp is located in the middle of old town Ericeira. The hostel is on the main street, 5 min walk to the beach, with restaurants and surf shops right around the corner. We have 12 rooms, with private bathrooms and a small, open air, chill out terrace on top. A separate lounge area comes with cable tv, surf movies, books, board games and computer. We offer free Wi-Fi. All bedding, linens, and beach towels are provided and our rooms are spacious and clean.

I am Nuno Goncalves, founder, team manager and head surf instructor at Ericeira Surf Camp & Hostel. As a former pro surfer, surfing is my life and I try to share my knowledge and passion every day and inspire more people to love and respect the ocean and Mother Nature. In addition to Ericeira Surf Camp & Hostel, I started West Coast Surf School in 2 locations - Ericeira and Lisbon. I am still involved with the surfing industry on a daily bases, I am on the board of directors of several surfing organizations in Portugal, I shape boards and I tow pro-surfers at Nazare big wave competitions every year.
