Welcome to Casa Reposo, an enclosed beach compound within walking distance to 204's beach with AMAZING touches throughout. Mid-century modern, completely remodeled inside and out with something for everyone (including air conditioning). Sleeps up to 12 people (beds for 8 people plus sofa bed and blow-up mattress). We are child and infant friendly (lots of amenities for families, see list below). We are pet friendly (free of charge). We love greeting our guests with a welcome beverage. The house is 1,800 square feet and sits on a 6,000 sq foot lot. This beach retreat is a mini-compound: private, secure and completely enclosed. We have ring cameras at every point of entry to the property.
It has a reverse floor plan and features 5 bedrooms & 3 baths (3 standard bedrooms, an entertainment room with queen sofa bed and queen sized day bed with a twin sized trundle, a Guest House "Glamping Tent", two indoor bathrooms and one outdoor bathroom). BEDROOM #1
Upstairs bedroom with Cal King pillowtop bed, TV and desk. Shares bathroom with Bedroom #2. Bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower.
BEDROOM #2
Upstairs bedroom with a split level, adjustable king bed. There is a small desk in this room and shares bathroom with bedroom #1. You can separate the split king into two twin XL beds if you prefer.
BEDROOM #3
Downstairs master with a King bed with TV, fireplace and makeup room. Shares bathroom with Bedroom #4. Bathroom has a sink, shower and toilet.
BEDROOM #4
Downstairs entertainment room with queen sleeper sofa, queen sized day bed with a twin sized trundle bed, desk, wifi printer, and kitchenette (Keurig coffee maker, mini-fridge, small stove, microwave and small dining table with 4 chairs) with an attached bath (shared with bedroom #3) with direct access to outdoor hot tub. A spiral staircase connects to upstairs and there is a barn door you can close at the top of the staircase for privacy. There is also a side entrance/outdoor staircase that leads you to this unit for easier access. There is a door the separates bedroom #4 from bedroom #3 for privacy.
BEDROOM #5
Camp Reposo is a high-end, outdoor, white, canvas glamping tent with two, XL twin beds & patio sitting area built on a platform deck in a beautiful setting (with mini fridge) that has easy access to the outdoor bathroom (with sink, toilet and shower). It has a charging station/electricity, lights, fan, space heater and wool blankets to keep you warm in the winter. This tent is a permanent structure/guest house and everyone battles to stay in it. It is a guest favorite.
Casa Reposo's easy beach access puts you and your family within a 5 minute walk from San Clemente's world famous 204's beach. The North Beach trail head to the San Clemente Beach Trail is a 5 minute walk away and will take you on a 2.3 mile ocean view journey that will lead you past the pier to Calafia Beach. If you decide to continue your journey on a more rustic trail you can continue all the way south to "Cotton's Point" (where you will find President Nixon's Western White House). We are also at the bike trail head to Dana Point Harbor. Cruise your bikes (11 bikes included in rental) along PCH for a 5 mile ride to Dana Point Harbor. Ride through Doheny State Beach along the way!
Casa Reposo is located in the North Beach area of San Clemente (recently dubbed the "North Beach Historic District"). The historic Ole Hanson buildings are being restored to their former glory. We are a 5 minute walk from two wedding venues (Casino Building and Ole Hanson Beach Club). Tons of new restaurants, coffee houses, bars, breweries are popping up everywhere and all within walking distance. It's the current hot spot in San Clemente!
Casa Reposo is also just a 5 minute drive to downtown San Clemente, where you can dine, shop, and enjoy the quaint Del Mar Avenue or you could head to the famous San Clemente Pier and Fisherman's restaurant (also a 5 minute ride away). The Ole Hanson Beach Club and public pool is a 5 minute walk. There are several parks within walking distance. The outlet mall is a 5 minute drive away. You are a short car ride from world class Trestles and San Onofre beaches. San Clemente is located between all of San Diego attractions and Disneyland. All within 45 min drive.

Please note: if you are looking for a party location, our home is not the place for you. We take seriously our neighbors’ right to peaceful enjoyment of their homes, and require all who occupy our home to be respectful of our neighbors. No bachelor or bachelorette parties allowed! Quiet time is 10pm-7am. We live 4 streets away, are available if there are any issues and will meet and greet all guests upon arrival.
We are pet friendly and allow small, well-trained dogs for no additional fee. If you have allergies please note that we do allow dogs in the home. The home is super clean, however if you have allergies to animals you might be affected.
It’s perfect for large families or two families (because it is a duplex and you have the entire property to yourselves). The upper and lower units are connected internally with a spiral staircase. It is set up like a reverse floor plan, which means you enter the property at the upper level. The upper level has a large gourmet kitchen/family room, two bedrooms, one bathroom, front deck and back deck. There is a spiral staircase that connects the upper level to the lower level unit. There is a barn door that you can close to provide privacy between the two units.
The lower unit is like it's own one bedroom apartment with a large family/entertainment area with sofa bed and kitchenette (that includes it's own coffee bar/sink/small stove, minifridge/dining area), bathroom, large master bedroom with vanity (there is a door that separates the master bedroom from the living room/kitchenette area).
The indoor spiral staircase is hard to navigate for someone that has difficulty walking. You can also access the lower unit from two different outdoor staircases (that are standard staircases).
The backyard has multiple levels and areas that provide privacy. There are a lot of stairs in the backyard (all with handrails to help people navigate).
