The Area
Treat yourself to a perfectly convenient location on Hwy 75 Alternate, only 2 miles from Downtown Helen. Day tripping? Perfect. Avoid the Helen traffic with easy access to back-roads leading to Helen, Cleveland, Dahlonega, Blairsville, & Sautee-Nacoochee. We're close to Richard Russell Scenic Byway (takes you to Blairsville/Blue Ridge) Hwy 75 (to Hiawassee/North Carolina) and less than 15 minutes from two access points to the famous Appalachian Trail. Hiking and nature are literally at your doorstep with loads of parks and hiking trails for all skill levels in the immediate vicinity. After your hike or waterfall picnic, enjoy a glass of wine at one of the 14 wineries (and one brewery!) located within a 20 minute drive of the property. Or just stay in and enjoy the complimentary bottle of wine (must be over 21) we include with your stay!

Your hosts are locals, live nearby, and have a great working knowledge of the area. We're happy to help with recommendations and insider tips to make your trip the best it can be. Your interaction with us is totally optional as you’ll have a passcode door and you can come and go as you please.

Access
Guests have exclusive access to their own driveway & parking area which can accommodate two vehicles, the front deck, the open floor plan full kitchen & living area, the laundry room, queen bedroom & en suite bath.

Please note:
The property is a private suite of a duplexed unit. The second unit is also listed on Airbnb. The space has a completely separate driveway and entrance and is equipped with several sound reduction measures.
The fireplace is not operational.
There are four steps leading from the parking area to the deck, therefore we're afraid it is not wheelchair accessible.
You may be charged for any damage to the property.
If you’re hitting the town, please note that there are fewer Uber and Lyfts in the area than the city. Taxis are abundant, however, and our proximity to Helen is a great thing!
