Sea lovers? This is it!
Our house is located in Bodrum Gümüşlük only a few steps away from the water, yet still enclosed in a privately secluded garden. The apartment in this lovingly built 50 year old stone house is on the first floor, has two bedrooms, a full kitchen, a renovated bathroom, fire place, a spacious living room and two balconies with mesmerising sea views! Look out for the two majestic eucalyptus trees in front of the house and you have made it home!

What makes this house so special is definitely the prime location, which allows for majestic views, while being very close to a well frequented beach. Still, it is quiet & serene. In addition though, the house itself is very well built, therefore rather cool in summer months (there are air conditions in every room though) and warm in the winter months, if you can call Bodrum winters even that, since the climate is more like fall.
The main balcony has a flexible window enclosement for cooler days & nights, so you can still enjoy the outside with a generous seating area. The second terrace is wide open, with a hammock for dreamy hours and overlooks the private garden with olive trees.
Everything is kept as natural as possible like in the old days, like the rooftop of the house, which was covered with earth to regulate temperatures, the wood ceilings (looking up when you lie down never gets boring!) or the local floor stones, each selected by hand.
The living room is spacious, so if you spend time indoors, there is a huge seating area, fire place, desk, satellite dish and certainly, lots of windows allowing for light to shine through and call you outside.
And then again, even from the master bedroom you watch the ever changing sea, without ever having to get up. So it's up to you.

Just a stone's throw away (if you can throw about 50 meters), is the famous Gümüşlük beach, which is ideal for beach walks, cozy restaurant visits, hiking trails and also some almost secret local coves.

World traveller, . Since I have met lots of wonderful people during my stays with airbnb, I have decided to share my apartment and other places with special qualities on this platform. My friends kept telling me this place is too awesome to be left alone while I am travelling, and I am so happy to have made the move! My main motivation is to share the good and add some colour into traveller's, yet also my life as well. Being in the hospitality industry, I do have the occupational habit of welcoming people :).
I comaider all properties here ‘my home’ and only if I am certain that you will be 100% happy here, will we both benefit from your stay, so ask me as many questions as you like or just read the reviews or both.
Also, I highly value long term stays, as I believe you will have everything and maybe even more, if you stay here for a few weeks. Take care and maybe see you soon!
