The Guest Suite is conveniently located in a quiet street in the prestigious Aquatic Paradise canal estate. It is only 400m to Birkdale Fair Shopping Centre or 800m to the train station. The Waterloo Bay foreshore with BBQ facilities and children’s playground is just 1km away. We enjoy the cool breezes.
There are restaurants, supermarkets, coffee shops, ATMs, bars and a post office all within a 5 minute walk.
Access to the main highways, airport and the Chandler sports centre is not far.

L-ispazju
The modern, spacious Guest Suite is part of our house but is completely separated and has its own entrance. The Guest Suite consists of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, separate toilet, and an open plan lounge-dining-kitchenette. 2 small steps lead from the living area to the bedrooms/bathroom (see photo). Each room is equipped with a fan.
The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. Each bedroom has a built in wardrobe.
The kitchenette is well equipped with fridge, microwave, coffee plunger, 2 induction hot plates, frying pan, 2 saucepans, wok, saute pan and a good supply of glassware, crockery and cutlery. The pantry is supplied with coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper and oil.
The bathroom has a full glass top vanity, relaxing bath, and shower. There is also a front-load washing machine located in the bathroom. Washing powder is supplied. The toilet is separate from the bathroom.
Good fast WiFi is available in all rooms.
The Guest Suite is family friendly with a portable cot, baby bath and a high chair. A second high chair is available on request. There are plenty of games for older children as well.
There is off-street parking that is right next to the Guest Suite entrance.
The windows have been fitted with reflective film to enhance your privacy.

Birkdale is an idyllic bayside suburb located on Waterloo Bay. If you enjoy water activities there are boat ramps nearby and several canoe/kayak launching locations. Fishing is popular from the point in the Aquatic Paradise West Park. The West Park has a children’s playground and BBQ facilities. The Queens Esplanade has a popular walkway for exercise.
The Moreton Bay Cycleway passes through Birkdale. It is not uncommon to see large groups of cyclists along this route at any time of the day but particularly in the morning on weekends.

I’m an Aussie and my spouse, Elsbeth, is from Switzerland. Both of us are involved in voluntary work with the poor and marginalised in overseas communities.
We love living in Birkdale and keeping active. We are often out on the esplanade in the morning either walking or jogging.
We love to travel and have stayed in numerous AirBnB places both in Australia and overseas. Our Guest Suite has been designed for AirBnB and as a place that we would like to live in. Some guests like to have contact with their host but others prefer to keep to themselves. We will respect your privacy if preferred.
