DISCOUNTS FOR 7 NIGHT STAYS.
It is said that Virginia Woolf spent the early summers of her life in St Ives gazing out at the view of the golden sands and deep blues of St Ives and beyond all the way to Godrevy Lighthouse. Inspired by what she saw, it’s referenced in many of her later works and most famously in her novel ‘To The Lighthouse’.

LOCATION
St Ives is a town that never tires of things to do and it’s maze of higgledy-piggledy cobbled streets are filled with some of the best restaurants, cafes, shops and galleries Cornwall has to offer. For any art enthusiast, they’ll be well aware of the legacy that St Ives has made on the art world, with its numerous art galleries including the famous Tate St Ives, Barbara Hepworth Museum and Bernard Leach Pottery. It’s increasingly become a popular destination to travel to and it’s not hard to see why people fall in love with it and come back year after year. A quaint town surrounded by beaches with sand so golden and sea so blue it could be mistaken for the Caribbean. The beaches have become a favourite for many of the local surfers and the surf schools at Porthmeor offer the opportunity for you to try it out for yourself. Or heading to the harbour you can hop on a boat and take a trip out to see the seals. A town where you will want for nothing and everything is just on your door.

LIVING
Set across the first floor, the spacious living room really is the hub of this home with amazing views from the three floor to ceiling windows. It's open-planned and flooded with natural light with a sofa and dining area with a table for four - at the end of a day spent exploring, sink into the lovely squishy sofa and switch on the TV and relax in front of a film, or just simply watch the world go by gazing out to sea.

COOKING & EATING
If you choose to eat in you won’t be disappointed in this well-equipped galley style kitchen. Cook up a feast and enjoy it from the dining table, with the ever-changing backdrop of the sea and the sky. There is a fridge freezer, washing machine, gas hob and electric oven, microwave and a door out to the rear patio.

SLEEPING
There are two bedrooms off the hallway. The large main bedroom has a king size bed, a large wardrobe and a trunk allowing for plenty of space and an en suite shower room. From the grey and blue hues of the art of the wall, to the wooden trunk, the room has been furnished and decorated with a clean palette of colours to create a truly relaxing room to unwind in.

Further down the hallway is the second bedroom, another peaceful, naturally lit room with two small single beds perfect for kids.

BATHING
The main bedroom has an en suite shower room. At the end of the hallway is the main bathroom and with a small sized bath and a shower attachment.

OUTSIDE
On warmer evenings, open up the door from the living room and head out onto the balcony to really take in the surroundings from this beautiful viewpoint. It’s the perfect spot for enjoying a glass of wine as the day winds in. From the kitchen you can walk straight out into the courtyard, there’s a table and chairs for dining al fresco on sunny mornings.

USEFUL TO KNOW...
PARKING: There are numerous car parks in St Ives and to help we’ll leave you 2 daily permits for your day of arrival and day of departure. These can be used outside if residents parking is available. The station car park is down the steps from the apartment or there is Trenwith Car Park just up the hill.

WI-FI: To The Lighthouse has unlimited free Wi-Fi. Due to the size of the apartment and thick walls it can drop out away from the router but we have supplied extenders to help.

HEATING: To The Lighthouse is centrally heated.

PETS: Far West Cornwall is doggie heaven! There’s plenty of beaches and coast paths for exploring. One well-behaved dog is welcome at £35 per week/short break. Please make sure they stay out of bedrooms and off the furniture and that you rub down muddy/sandy feet before they come in.

LINEN & TOWELS: You'll have bedding & towels but please bring your own beach towels.

ACCESSIBILITY: To The Lighthouse has steep steps up to the buildings front door then an internal flight of stairs up to the first floor apartment. There are steep steps up that lead you out of the house from the rear patio, which may not be suitable for very young children or for those with limited mobility. If in doubt do ask before booking. Please note children of any age must be supervised by an adult if using the outside areas.

CHANGEOVER & SHORT BREAKS: Changeover is usually Saturday. Short breaks are available for a minimum of three nights with flexible changeover days. Do check with us if your dates don't quite fit as we will always try to help.

We are The Cornish Way Limited. My name is Seb and together with assistance from Adrienne and Lowenna we run The Cornish Way, a small local holiday agency managing a fine collection of cottages on behalf of their owners. Working from a converted dairy on the outskirts of Penzance together with our office dogs, Otto and Herbie we are located close by to all the cottages. The whole team live locally so always get in touch. We are usually on hand to help with your stay even if it's just a tip for a good local pub or beach!
