L-ispazju
NEW to our small portfolio of properties in the St Ives Bay area.

With your own private balcony and parking space this apartment is perfect for alfresco dining or simply watching the world go by….

This spacious apartment, Godrevy comes complete with the most amazing sea views and has been decorated reflecting the owners keen and avid interest in original fine artwork, textiles and ceramics throughout.

With views from the balcony across St. Ives Bay and beyond this apartment forms part of the Victorian built villa, Tremorna House, that was originally the home of the St. Ives School of Artists. Tremorna is located in Wheal Margery, Carbis Bay and is the perfect destination for those that want a relaxed lifestyle getaway and just a pebble’s throw from the heart of St Ives art, culture and foodie hub. With its palm-fringed sandy beach, water sports, ocean-side spa and stunning bay views Carbis Bay is the perfect choice for those looking for the idyllic spot to dip a toe in the luxury coastal lifestyle.

At the apartment you can take advantage of the direct access on to the South West Coast path via the serene communal gardens or just sit back and relax in the tranquil escape.

This ground floor 2 bedroom apartment is accessed via steps down a private path from the reserved parking space located outside the main house on the private road. With a vaulted ceiling the main king size bedroom has a bright and fresh feel, next door the twin room is ideally suited to children but two adults would be equally comfortable in the single beds.

The kitchen has everything that you need for your self-catering stay enabling you to relax and enjoy the balcony after a day out exploring West Cornwall. The open plan living space is part of the original Tremorna House and has a wonderful high ceiling with patio doors to the terrace which allows the Cornish sunlight in and that big breath of fresh sea air…..

Beyond the perimeter of the cultivated area the communal garden and neighbouring grounds drop away and become more naturalistic with a woodland path. Care is required in using the garden and neighbouring pathway and small children in particular should be supervised at all times due to the steeply sloping nature of the path.

An easy 30-minute walk along the South West Coast Path, or 5 minutes on the coastal railway from the buzzing town and beaches of St Ives, Carbis Bay is a more serene scene than its neighbour. If you’re looking for laid-back beach life look no further than the pearly sands of Carbis Bay, with its blue flag water quality, seasonal lifeguards, low-tide rock-pooling and excellent beachside facilities. Offering a plethora of water sports for the whole family, it’s the perfect place to castaway on a stand-up paddle board or kayak. If you want to escape the beach-bound masses just along the coast path is the pristine Porthkidney Sands, an expanse of golden sands and sea looking across to Godrevy Lighthouse.

Furthermore, you are perfectly situated to enjoy many of Cornwall's attractions by car. Around 30 mins away is the historic Minack theatre - an incredible theatre carved into the cliffs edge. Over the summer they show many productions, including Shakespeare and kids shows in the day, so check the schedule and book in advance! Lands end, Porthcurno, Flambard's Theme Park and the Seal Sanctuary can also all be reached within 30 mins.

Around 50 mins drive away is the Eden Project, but it is well worth the drive. Described by some as the 8th wonder of the world, 3 giant greenhouse biomes house artificial environments. Wonder through rainforest, Mediterranean, African climates and more! There are guided walks and many events on so again check the calendar.

Beaches:

Porthmeor Beach:
The town's largest beach Porthmeor has it all with great surf, good food & the famous Tate Gallery. You can learn to surf with a registered instructor or just take to the waves if you're already a pro. Just up from the beach is a bowling green & mini-golf to while away a couple of hours or perhaps you'd simply like to relax with a drink at the Porthmeor Beach Café.

Harbour Beach:
A very sheltered sandy beach at the far end of the harbour, perfect for children as the water is quite shallow. It is a fantastic sun-trap in the heart of the town.

Porthgwidden Beach:
Continue past the Harbour beach, follow the path along the waterfront and you'll find Porthgwidden beach — a small, sheltered, sandy cove with safe swimming. Enjoy a cream tea in the Porthgwidden Beach Café whilst watching your children play on the beach.

Porthminster Beach:
The gateway to St Ives town, Porthminster boasts a half mile long strip of golden yellow sand & crystal clear water. It offers safe swimming as well as organized beach activities for the children in the summer, mini-golf and the famous Porthminster Beach Café
Carbis Bay Beach:
Beautiful Carbis Bay offers safe bathing & is good for windsurfing & water-skiing. Lifeguards patrol during the summer.

Porthkidney Sands:
Between Carbis Bay & the Hayle estuary, Porthkidney is something of a local secret. There is a small car park next to the church at Lelant, but you can also walk there along the coast path from Carbis Bay. Lifeguards patrol during the summer.
