Unique views from your brand new apartment and terraces.

This ground floor apartment was completely redecorated in 2021. The large terraces on three sides of the house are all yours, so you can always find a space in the sun or in the shade. The west facing side has an amazing view of the IJsselmeer, yet the other sides have excellent views too. Two small beaches at short walking distance from the apartment. Free Wifi.

Your apartment has a brand new kitchen with Quooker and other high-end equipment, including a combi-oven, dishwasher and a fridge with an icebox.
You have a hall with a separate toilet, a living/kitchen with Philips Ambilight TV and Nespresso coffee machine, a bedroom with two single boxspring beds next to each other, and an en-suite bathroom.
Access is through a common front door, followed by a lockable door to your own hall. The apartment is fitted with two Arcchio Fenio ceiling lights/fans, with individual remote controls, allowing you to generate a nice cooling breeze in both the living and the bedroom. This is a gem for two people, and if so desired, a pet. If you want to bring more pets, please send us a message first.

Stavoren, Friesland, in-Netherlands

Stavoren is the oldest city in Friesland. The apartment is located adjacent to the IJsselmeer and the charming old harbor. In season, due to three marinas in the near vicinity, Stavoren is very popular with people who love boats. There are two small beaches near the apartment, and a large one at the southern edge of the city, which is a 5-10 mins walk. At less than 500 metres, you will find a Coop, which has won a prize for "most beautiful supermarket of The Netherlands" and can be reached by boat if so desired.

#1 show: Miss Saigon - having run over 10 years in London ... that's pretty decent!
#1 music: Robbie Williams - amazing variety of styles, although his voice can be really bad performing Live.
#1 food: I am the cook at home, catering for our vegetarian daughter too. Variety is the spice of life, although grilled marinated rack of lamb is my personal favorite.

I am an easy guest. Having spent nights in a 25 euro room in Poland all the way to a 6-star hotel in Dubai reflects some flexibility I hope.

I love trips in our convertible, in particular in summer.
