This is the perfect place for outdoor enthusiasts. We are 20 minutes to Loveland, A-Basin, Keystone, Copper & Breckenridge and a bit further to Vail & Beaver Creek. There's a great trailhead 200 yards down the road with miles of single track biking and access to Eagles Nest Wilderness.

You could spend every day exploring the bike trails or wilderness hiking trails right from door.

Please note that this is a studio apartment with a second bedroom.

***We have always had a 5 Star rating for cleaning but in these Covid times we are cleaning even deeper and sanitizing as well. We are following all AirBnB Enhanced Cleaning protocols and more.

**** We have a very strict No Party Policy and expect you to follow our quite hours of 10:pm - 7:am. We live upstairs and are full time residents.

This "apartment" is in the Lower Level of our home where we live most of the year. You may access this space through the private exterior door around the backside of the house directly into the "apartment." It's about 80' and 15 steps to the private entrance from the upper parking spot.

The Lower Level where your space will be is a beautiful and large Guest Suite with a queen bed and single sofa sleeper along with a Kitchenette, sitting area and a large Master (2 shower head) Bathroom in addition to a second bedroom.

We have parking for your one vehicle. In winter (Nov - April) it will be necessary for you to rent an AWD. A 4x4 is better but not necessary.

Our WIFI download speed is 800+ mbps - fast enough to enjoy downloading movies and working on line with video etc. If this is not fast enough for you let us know.

Mesa Cortina / Wildernest is known through out the world as the place to stay in Summit County for skiing and other outdoor activities. At 9600' we have some of the best views around. If you prefer shopping over skiing, the Outlet Stores are just 2 miles down the road. In town you will also find a public Recreation Center with multiple pools, workout facilities, fitness classes and child care. Frisco, Keystone and Breckenridge also have wonderful shopping areas. We are a quiet neighborhood of single family homes with some dirt roads that have very little traffic with a nice trailhead just five houses away.

After taking more than a year away from AirBnB during the pandemic and while we were building this new home - we are back and looking forward to hosting new guests for the first time in a long time.

We are in our mid 60's and very active. We spend much of our time in the mountains at Havenview or camping in our small RV. Traveling the world is a passion. Telemark skiing Arapahoe Basin is how we spend our winters while hiking and biking or maybe sea kayaking is where you will find us in the summer.

Having traveled many places in the world we truly enjoy meeting other travelers. We are blessed to be living in Colorado Ski Country and wake up everyday to the most amazing mountain views.

We have been fortunate enough to have lived in Colorado our entire lives with Deana a rare 5th generation Coloradan. All three of our adult kids live close by. We both have big extended families almost all of which live in the state.

We have been hosting with AirBnB for more than 10 years and have appreciated the experience and how great all our guests have been and how well they have taken care of our home while we are away.
