In a secluded courtyard in the heart of old Penzance, our light and airy flat comfortably sleeps 4. It consists of the two upper floors of a unique period building looking out across the rooftops to St Michael's Mount. Close to town centre and harbour, yet tranquil and private it catches the morning and midday sun, which fills the rooms with light even on winter days. The apartment is modern and cosy with quality furnishings and bedlinen.
Not currently open, but intending to be back late 2021.

Recently converted and bright and airy our flat is very individual. Open-plan in design it has a spacious living/dining room has a double height ceiling and faces south so the sun streams in and fills the space with light. Fully equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms: twin on top floor with a view towards St Michael's Mount and its own cosy sitting room, mezzanine double bedroom with en suite shower above the living area with view over our neighbours' beautiful towards the church. (Please see photos) Second shower and toilet on lower floor. Cute cobbled courtyard garden and a narrow parking space suitable for a small car (maximum width 1m 80cm). The space is recommended for confident drivers who are happy reverse park!

A car is not necessary as The Studio is very convenient for public transport, close to all amenities, pubs, restaurants and shops. A great base for discovering the coast and landscape of this beautiful part of Cornwall.
Guests can enjoy al fresco meals in the courtyard or just open the french windows and let the fresh sea air and call of seagulls into the apartment while you eat.

Due to the open-plan layout and the steep stairs the property is not suitable for children under 10 or the infirm. Please respect our neighbours restricting noise and light after dark.
Narrow parking space for a car with maximum width 1m 80cm. It is best to reverse into the space.
Minimum let is usually 3 nights.

My family has lived in this area for nearly 100 years and my husband and I particularly love this part of Penzance. There is so much history in the old town, yet our corner is private and peaceful. All the amenities of the town, shops, pubs, restaurants and galleries are within easy reach.

We moved down to Penzance 20 years ago, bringing up our 3 children in this lovely part of the world. My family also live nearby. We built a house near the sea front 10 years ago and enjoyed the experience so much we bought and renovated The Studio, where we hope to retire to one day. Away from my own business I help out at my daughter's clothes shop in fantastic Chapel Street. Together with her we have just finished another property in nearby Newlyn where we now live. For leisure I love my daily walk along the Prom or towards Mousehole, pottering in the garden, making art and The Minack Theatre on summer evenings.
