The cottage and our home are located on 8 partially wooded acres. It’s a feeling of being in the country but all the conveniences of the city with easy access to Interstate 64 and Lake St. Louis Blvd. You can have all the privacy you need with your own garage and entrances. The rooms have hardwood floors and area rugs. The bathroom has a shower and toilet and the lavatory is in the bedroom. The queen bed has an electric adjustable frame and you have plenty of storage in the large walk in closet.

Lake St. Louis is an upscale development about 40 miles west of St. Louis. What started out as a home development around 2 lakes many years ago has now become a small town. We have most of the chain stores and restaurants as well as some boutique shops and fine dining as well. If you can’t find what you need here Wentzville is 10 minutes west and O’Fallon and St. Charles to the east probably will.

My husband and I are retired and have lived on this property for almost 50 years. We’ve seen many changes to Lake St. Louis along the way. We have always had horses and now are partners on 2 thoroughbreds that we cared for this winter and are now back at the race track getting ready to run starting in April..
We previously owned a second home on the Niangua River with an apartment above the garage that I hosted as a bed and breakfast. I enjoyed meeting new people so decided now to host on Airbnb with the guest house we have here.

We are close enough to help if something arises but you can be assured you will have all the privacy you need. I can’t promise you won’t be visited by one of our 2 dogs though!
