The Lost Resort is a beautiful, airy spacious house we designed 25 years ago to relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean views of The Whitsundays. The high set house is located in Cannonvale which is a quiet residential area just over the hill and walking distance from Airlie Beach. We live at one end of the house and your queen size bedroom with a private ensuite is at the other end of the house. Your room has a gorgeous view of the ocean with aircon and ceiling fans.

white and airy with an expansive view of the ocean. The house is full of sailing photos and is styled on a beach theme. The balcony has a 180 degree view of the ocean and Double cones Islands with a steep backdrop of rainforest.

Cannonvale is a quiet residential area just over the hill but walking distance from Airlie Beach. Cannonvale Beach is about a 5 minute walk and Airlie Beach is a 10-15 minute walk along the boardwalk past Coral Sea Marina

We are a fun loving couple who are intrepid sailors, adventurers and never want to grow old. We love cooking, great wines, fires on the beach and hearing travel stories. Our travels have taken us all over Europe in a combi, round Australia in a campervan for a year, sailing our yacht around the Whitsundays for seven years, through Thailand and Vietnam, on a Chaos in the Carribean trip with our sailing mates on a charter yacht through the islands , backpacking around South America for 3 months and our latest plan is to cruise the Dalmation Coast in Croatia. Which is why we want to rent out our room to fund the next adventure!
