Rustic log cabin built in the 1950's.Great view of Slaughter ridge trail and Langille mountain to the front of the cabin and Cecil Rhode mountain to the rear of cabin .Close to the main attractions including the boat launch .

Enjoy this authentic 1950's log cabin, located above Snug Harbor on Kenai lake . . It is close to world class fishing in the Kenai River and multiple hiking trails and mountain biking. Remember, you are in Alaska and wildlife abounds. Do not approach wild animals and always be alert and aware of your surroundings.

Ben Romig ,your host ,has been a journeyman carpenter ,hunter and fisherman for much of his life .He started school in a one room School house in Cooper Landing in 1958 and attended junior high and high school during the winter months in Anchorage. Ben has many stories of the early residents of Cooper Landing ,and tales of hunting and fishing on the Kenai Peninsula.

These days , Ben spends much of his time on his photography .He will be happy to share his close at hand photo documentation of the wildlife ,birds and the changing seasons in this beautiful land .Just ask!
