Lower unit of Quonset Hut located between Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene (basically considered Coeur d’Alene). Freshly painted and clean! Brand new mini split heat/AC unit will keep you comfortable during your stay. Situated in an older neighborhood in the small town of Huetter. Newly established Old School Bar just up the road, and easy access to the centennial trail. Our cozy and clean hut is about 4 miles to downtown CDA and beautiful CDA Lake, and about 34 miles to the airport in Spokane.

We have two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, and the other bedroom has a twin bed. Sleeps 3 guests only. All one level with a bathroom and open concept kitchen and living room. Bathroom has a washer and dryer. Out front is a small patio with chairs and a table. In back we have an enclosed room/patio for bicycle storage. We plan to get bikes for guest use, but haven’t found them yet. Will keep the site updated. :)

This is an older neighborhood in the very small town of Huetter. Newer homes and developments surround this part of Huetter, which has yet to be updated. Old School Bar is just up the block and is newly remodeled. Easy access to the Centennial Trail, and Coeur d’Alene. Could bike or drive. Close lake and river access.

We took a leap, and decided to come back to beautiful North Idaho from the Big Island of Hawaii in 2019. Kris lived in Hawaii for over 20 years, as a bookstore owner/bookseller. I was born and raised in Spokane, moved to Idaho in 1997, and moved to Kona in 2014. We made the move back to Idaho because we wanted to be closer to our families to enjoy our parents, and our children could enjoy their grandparents, in their golden years. We enjoy traveling, though we haven’t been able to do that much lately with the pandemic. Although, things seem to be looking up! :) Our goal is to travel Europe, and eventually possibly retire there. We have 2 school aged children, who keep us very busy. We love meeting new people and hosting. Kris is a realtor, and she loves her job. She would love to chat with anyone who may be interested in moving to the beautiful North Idaho Panhandle area. I am a Pharmacy Technician, currently working for a local Ma and Pop pharmacy, which I enjoy. We like hosting because we are able to meet some really nice people from around the world. It’s a lot of work to try to please everyone, but I enjoy the challenge.
