Our attractive, modern, ground floor coastal apartment, with its own decking, for one or two guests, enjoys magnificent sea views, is a stone's throw from Perranporth's wide, golden, sandy surfing beach and is very close to village amenities. It contains everything you will need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Wi-Fi throughout. Central heating. No cleaning fees. Parking to rear. The coastal footpath is just outside our front gate. You will never tire of the view; it will keep you spellbound.
If there is a one night vacancy showing on the calendar, between other bookings, please message to enquire about availability. The whole apartment is centrally heated, double glazed and has Wi-Fi throughout. I don't charge a cleaning fee and we also don't charge extra for electricity or for the central heating. Located here in glorious Perranporth, Cornwall, enjoying the most incredible far reaching views, with a landscape which is constantly changing, yet we are only a stone's throw away from the beach and everything which the village has to offer - eateries, shops, bars, pubs etc. You can walk everywhere. We have provided rattan chairs, a table, and full length loungers on the apartment's decking, where you can dine alfresco, all the while drinking in the amazing view laid out before you. Early risers can experience a Perranporth sunrise from a decking viewpoint. We even provide throws and a hot water bottle to keep you warm and toasty should you wish to sit outside when the weather turns chillier. There are windbreaks, seating and mats for the beach located in the main hall. From the decking, step through the French doors into the main living area. Here we have a large flat screen smart television with NETFLIX for our guests, DVD player with dvds, dining table and two chairs, a very comfortable leather two seater recliner sofa, coffee tables and a fully equipped kitchen area. There are ample cupboards and worktop surfaces with fridge (including a small freezer compartment), microwave, electric oven, ceramic hob, toaster and kettle. The apartment is equipped with stainless steel saucepans, Pyrex dishes, white tableware, a selection of various glasses (wine/champagne/tumblers), cutlery, place-mats, tea towels and many other sundries. We have provisioned it with fresh milk, tea, instant coffee, cafetière with ground coffee, drinking chocolate, biscuits and condiments. Dish washing, cleaning items, bin liners, J-cloths etc are kept beneath the sink. Additionally, there is an iron, ironing board, and portable clothes dryer. We have also put out binoculars, board games and playing cards and a selection of relevant books about Cornwall and paperbacks to keep you entertained. There are lots of leaflets in the apartment detailing Cornish attractions, including discount vouchers too, along with a set of tide tables so you can keep an eye on what the sea is doing. I am more than happy to drop off a daily newspaper for you as I always nip down to the village to get my own first thing in the morning. The apartment's main front door is located within this area. Walking through to the bedroom there is a wardrobe with plenty of hangers, lots of drawer space, bedside cabinets with matching lamps and a king size bed made up with a king size duvet and attractive bed linen. In addition there is a wall mounted Smart TV with DVD player (there are some DVDs in the apartment should you wish to watch them) on which the internet can also be accessed and NETFLIX for our guests. Additionally, there is a hairdryer and bedside clock radio. The fully tiled en-suite shower room, with heated towel rail, has an excellent power shower and towels (one bath and one hand towel per person) provided, along with various toiletries eg shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc. We have our own private car park to the rear of the main property. Check out is at 11am but we are more than happy for guests to leave their car for a few extra hours after this time so that they can eke out their break just a little longer before their return journey. Just ask. From our apartment you can look across to the exact spot on the cliffs opposite where Winston Graham wrote the novels Ross Poldark and Demelza in the 1940's. Of course, most of the filming for the television series Poldark takes place around Cornwall, and hereabouts. The beach is famed for its wide expanse of golden sand, which is cleaned regularly throughout most of the year. It's a tremendous walk to the other end of the beach (just watch out for the incoming tide!) or to meander along the sandy dunes. It's great for surfing, with a surf school practically on the doorstep (closed during the winter months, although there are others in the village open all year round). Lifeguards patrol the beach for your safety during the busier months. Storm watching can be wild and exciting in the winter months, especially if the tides are exceptionally high, when the beach takes on a very different character. Watch all the excitement from inside without getting cold and wet outside! Access to the coastal footpath is practically on our doorstep and it's a glorious walk to St Agnes, which is about four miles away across the cliffs. Or to Holywell Bay in the other direction. The Watering Hole, located on the beach itself, is a very popular bar/restaurant to view some of our amazing sunsets over the ocean. Perranporth Golf Club, enjoying breathtaking views up and down the coast, is one of Cornwall's finest links courses and is only a 1.4 mile drive away. Perranporth Tennis Club has six grass courts and three newly resurfaced floodlit hard courts. It is open to visitors and is only a 0.5 mile walk away from us. The nearest riding stables are just under two miles from us by road. The local doctors' surgery and Boots the Chemist are extremely close, should you require their services during your stay. The bustling cathedral city of Truro is only nine miles away (try The Heron Inn overlooking the Truro River at Malpas, which is just a couple of miles drive/walk from the City centre); the famous Eden Project 26 miles and St Ives 24 miles distant (hint: drive to Lelant Saltings or St Erth then take the train right into St Ives, a very memorable scenic railway journey, albeit quite short, as driving around St Ives can be quite challenging). If you're a Doc Martin fan then why not go to Port Isaac which doubles as Portwenn in the series. We love having lunch at The Budock Vean Hotel (TR11 5LG) at Mawnan Smith, 21 miles away, followed by a walk through the beautiful grounds down to The Helford River (think Daphne du Maurier's Frenchman's Creek). Their Cornish cream afternoon teas are such a treat too: large, homemade scones, with lashings of Cornish cream and Boddington's strawberry jam, along with a selection of delicious homemade cakes. Travelling widely over the years has given us an insight into what travellers like and expect. We have, therefore, used this knowledge when setting up the apartment for our guests. However I am always very open to any suggestions to make your stay with us special and memorable. If you think we've forgotten something, therefore, please don't hesitate to let us know. We don't charge a cleaning fee either. So come and share our view with us. We guarantee you won't be disappointed. Please also see our other Airbnb listing for four people: www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/19563456. This apartment is located on the opposite side of Bay Court's main hallway
We have travelled fairly extensively over the years and we both think that the beach here at Perranporth has got to be one of the very best beaches in the world. Come and experience it for yourself.

In a quiet lane, just a pebble’s throw from the perfect, sandy beach of Porth, Wren’s Nest is a former sail loft which has been tastefully furnished and decorated and makes a wonderful coastal bolt hole to escape to. Quality hotel- grade bedding provided.
**OFF ROAD PARKING NOW AVAILABLE RIGHT NEXT TO THE BEACH** Leave the parking nightmare to others! Wrens Nest is a perfect example of an 18th century traditional Cornish fisherman's cottage- small but perfectly formed. They would have mended their nets with the boats pulled up outside and slept upstairs. It really is very small- think cabin-style but who cares with miles and miles of sandy beach and Atlantic coast outside. It's set just back from the beach, protected from winter storms in a little mews with 3 other cottages. There are 1.5 bedrooms upstairs- 1 standard double and 1 cabin style bed not suitable for a large adult (2'6 x 5'9) plus a double sofabed in the lounge. It's not recommended for 3 adults or very large adults. Important note re bathroom- It's old school. There is currently a small bathtub with enamel jug for rinsing off. No shower. There is a shower attachment but it's not very effective. We have always enjoyed this traditional cottage bathing experience but there have been a few comments from guests missing a shower. We are looking into this for the future.
Porth beach is safe and family-friendly, with a small coastal café, an excellent boutique and coffee shop, 2 traditional pubs (within 5 mins walk of the cottage) a deli up the road and world class restaurants nearby. Porth is perfectly placed on the North Coast between Padstow, Watergate Bay and Newquay. Padstow and Watergate Bay are sports and foodie hotspots. Less well-known- Newquay is undergoing a food renaissance with the arrival of Rick Stein and many new independent cafés and seafood restaurants. Watergate and Newquay's Fistral Beach are some of the best surfing spots in the UK and Watergate is also great for kiteboarding.

Secluded, self contained, 1 bedroom apartment in our home by the sea. Bedroom, bathroom (shower), living area with kitchen. Living room with TV (Netflix, iPlayer ...) sofa, dinning table & chairs, kitchen (hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge & freezer.). Bathroom with shower, sink & loo. Bedroom with king size bed, wardrobes. WiFi, USB ports, Bluetooth speaker. The flat has private parking by it's own entrance (key code access). Not suitable for babies or children and we are keeping it pet free.
It's a cliff top house, overlooking the sea and beach, on the edge of the village we love, Perranporth. To get the great sea views in the photos you do need to step outside the flat and go up the stairs to the top deck, that you can use anytime. From the flat you do have a limited narrow view of the sea down the side of the house (see current photo 13), but it's worth going up the outside stairs ! From the property, walk down to the beach and Perranporth village with plenty of shops, surf schools, restaurants, pubs and cafes. OR turn left onto the coastal path. St Agnes is a bit under a 90 minute cliff top walk. Dinner and a taxi back is a great evening. The house, including the flat was completed in late 2017. We tried to take on a lot of current "eco" build ideas in that the house is well insulated (triple glazed windows, sheeps wool in the walls), and has most of the internal air continually refreshed, not from vents and gaps, but a ventilation system that gives more filtered and dehumidified fresh air into the building than a traditional property. There is some more obvious tech in that the light switches give multiple scenes, the bathroom lights are PIR sensor triggered and the blinds are on remote controls.
Droskyn headland is at the south end of Perranporth beach, at the edge of the village.

Built brand new for 2019, The Snug is a cosy self contained 1 bedroom chalet just 50 yards from the cliff tops. It’s a stones throw from Porth beach and the entrance to the legendary Porth Island, where locals and tourist alike gather with their cameras to capture that perfect sunset. Or borrow the Kayak’s for an evening paddle round the island. The Snugg itself is set into the rising hillside giving it the cosy and private feel its name suggests. Search Porth island drone on YouTube.
Cooking facilities are fairly basic, but there’s a microwave/oven combo, and a plug in counter top hob ready and waiting, so there’s everything you need to cook anything from a sneaky bit of toast or a roast dinner. Its primarily 1 bedroom accommodation, but a temporary bed ot travel cot can be provided to go in the living area for a child. The Snug has access the to the shared decking area on the back garden with panoramic views of the island and join use of the hot tub, but it also has its own small, well sheltered decking area right outside the front door. As shown in the pictures, there is table seating too.
The coastal footpath is just the other side of the road running from the island along the cliff top to the famous surfing beach at watergate bay. The sands resort is at the top of the hill and the gym, swimming pool and spar are all open to the public if you fancy some pampering. There is also an excellent physio in residence and a hair salon too. The Mermaid pub is a great place to eat, and has a good menu. It’s just 5 minutes walk. The rear of the pub actually opens out onto Porth beach.

Fistral Blue Apartment benefits from a terrace and parking with uninterrupted views of the Atlantic and Fistral Beach. Furnished to a high contemporary standard with free superfast wi-fi internet access. A short walk into the centre of the bustling holiday town of Newquay and the village of Crantock. Situated on the SW coast path and within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants.
Why not come down to Newquay for an out-of-season break? The weather in Cornwall is generally mild even in the winter months. However, there’s nothing like a windy day with waves crashing against the rocks to blow the cobwebs away. The apartment is situated right on the SW coast path and there are many walks without getting in the car. * Nip into the various café’s in Newquay for brunch or coffee. We recommend Sea Spray (within 100m of the apartment) open all the year round. * Sign up for a Spa Day at The Fistral Beach Hotel next door or the Headland Hotel across the Bay. * Visit the Eden Project tropical biomes near St Austell – there’s always something happening and you can have a great lunch too. * Discover multiple film locations for Poldark, Doc Martin, Rosamunde Pilcher Novels

A great location in the Newquay suburbs a mile and a half from the town centre. Perfect for those who like some peace and quiet but not too far from Newquay's great bars and restaurants. Breakfast includes fruit, cereals, juice, coffee & tea. Flexible check-in/check-out applies to weekdays only. If you are booking Friday or Saturday please advise of arrival time as we may not be available at certain times, especially after 7pm.
The room is a lounge with a comfortable sofa bed, that turns in to bedroom to suit the guests, with access to their own bathroom. The bathroom has a bath only, but we have a separate shower in our ensuite which guests are welcome to use.
The house itself was built in 2015 so it's very new and fresh, as is the whole estate. Rolling countryside behind, and a quiet suburban estate in front. Very close to the A392. Porth Beach only a 15 minute walk, Lusty Glaze and Tolcarne 20 minute walk. Newquay Zoo also close by.

Penwyth House is an early 19th century property in the village of St Columb Minor on the outskirts of Newquay, Cornwall. We have two beautiful garden facing bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities and a smart TV that has Netflix. The village pub that serves food is two minutes walk from the house and the shop five minutes walk. The local beach, Porth is about 15 minute walk depending on how fast you walk and we are also only 10 minutes drive from Newquay airport.
We have two available bedrooms for rent and this listing is for the Crantock suite. The other room is called the Porth suite which is listed at the same price. Here is the link: https://abnb.me/nUYv0bXngN Should you require two rooms please message us. The bedroom has an incredibly comfortable King sized bed and has been refurbished to a high standard, along with an ensuite shower room and luxurious bath in the bay window of the bedroom. There are tea and fresh coffee making facilities along with a smart TV with access to Netflix. We have space for storing bicycles, surf boards and wetsuits and we can put you in touch with our friends who own their own surf school in Porth and Watergate bay. If you are after some pampering then we can give you some great recommendations. We both work full time and so we are not in the house to serve you breakfast but it will all be laid out in the dining room. A simple breakfast of orange juice, bread, fruit, cereals and yoghurt is included in your room rate. In the morning help yourself to toast, tea and fresh coffee and we have a guest fridge should you want to keep something in it for a treat later.
We love our little village, which is super friendly and has the amenities you need such as the local pub that serves food, the Farmers Arms and a beautiful church where we got married that holds a brilliant Sunday service. The local shop that has everything is only a five minute walk from the house. Newquay town centre is approximately five minutes drive from our house depending on summer traffic and we have local taxi numbers should you need one. It will take around 30 minutes to walk into the town from our house.

Inspired by my own positive Airbnb experiences I’ve taken the plunge to open up my home to provide accommodation those choosing to visiting beautiful Cornwall. The house is located close to the centre of town and less than half a mile to nearest beach. Despite it’s central location the road is quiet at night with minimal traffic.
This is one of two rooms available in the house: The room is a small double room with a queen sized bed. Shared toilet and bathroom across the hall. A light breakfast will be supplied, as no one wants to be on a schedule while on holiday you’ll be able to help yourself at your leisure in the mornings. Tea and coffee will be available throughout your stay. There is off street parking at the front of the house, a bonus as parking in Newquay can be a challenge at peak times.
Located 400m from the Main Street everything you need is within walking distance supermarkets, restaurants and shops. Newquay Aquarium is 5min walk and Newquay Zoo is 20mins walk. The famous Headland Hotel is 15 min walk. In the winder Newquay area there is Jamie Oliver’s restaurant at Watergate Bay, the Retalllack Resort with it’s Aqua Park and Flowrider, the Lappa Valley Steam Railway and Multiple Golf courses. Further a field in Cornwall there is Padstow with the camel trail and the Camel Valley Vineyard. The Eden project, many National Trust properties and other public gardens, The National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, the Tate gallery at St I’ve, the Lizard Peninsula with the famous Kynance Cove, Land’s End, The Minack Theatre but to mention a few.
