Back by popular demand! You will learn basic woodworking techniques by creating your very own air plant holder. A variety of woods will be available to choose from. You'll create a unique shape for your planter or you can use one of my ready-made templates. After cutting out your creation on the bandsaw and shaping it on the belt sander, I will show you how to expertly sand and finish your piece so that you can proudly display your holder at home, or give it as a gift. You'll leave with a finished piece and an air plant to put in it. Other things to note: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, things that you don't mind getting dirty. The woodshop is a dusty place! In this experience, we will dive into the Japanese art of kokedamas. We will first talk about the fascinating history of this old art form, as well as how it is related to Japanese customs and the philosophy of wabi sabi. Then, I will show you how to make your first kokedama. Making kokedamas involves turning peat moss into a soil ball and then wrapping it in sheet moss to create a self sustaining pot to hold your plant. Each person will have their own station to create TWO kokedamas, that will eventually be taken home. This is perfect for those who are looking for a romantic and unique date or an enjoyable time spent with a family member learning a new trade. We have hosted many birthday and bachelorette parties, if you are looking for a special way to celebrate in nature. The standard session is based in the cultural hub of Bunker Hill in Downtown Los Angeles. We’ll seek out the most beautiful landmarks & hidden locations in this area. The best time I recommend is early morning to avoid the crowds. However, if you would prefer a different time slot that's also possible. The session will take place in a relaxed atmosphere & I'll guide you on different poses so no previous experience in front of the camera is necessary. I'll send you all useable images that have been edited to perfection the next day of our shoot. Additional rates apply for other locations and extending the session. This is an urban fishing experience right in the middle of the concrete jungle. Offering a unique experience most locals haven’t even experienced. Be prepared to have fun, be outdoors, and hopefully catch a fish! You will need to purchase a fishing license if you are 16yrs or older! I will provide all necessary materials. Fishing rods, bait, and any necessary tackle. This is a 2 hour trip. Given that it’s all up to the fish, there is no guarantee what fish, or how many we will catch! I can promise one thing. You will have a great time! You will learn a lot about yourself and your party. Fishing offers a great opportunity for conversation, relaxation, and reflection. This adventure is 3 hours of sun soaking bliss aboard our 42ft Bertram yacht. We begin our trip at our dock in Rainbow Harbor in heart of downtown Long Beach. From there we head 2 miles out to White Island and drop our anchor. White Island is a small private island near the beach in Long Beach that blocks much of the wind and waves and makes a perfect spot for this type of trip. The island is a beautiful photo backdrop with a Disney-esque look including soaring palm trees, walls and sculptures. There, we will drop anchor among the other yachts and have a lazy sun-soaked day on our yacht. Jump off the boat. Splash around and cool off. Enjoy your food (Ice chests allowed). **DRINKS ARE PURCHASED SEPARATELY. PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME. ** You'll arrive to the studio, everything will be set up for you including a palette with paint, an apron, easel, canvas, brush, water and napkins. We'll introduce to the painting and walk you through the steps. There will be 1 5-20 minute break and painting resumes for another hour. Total activity last between 2-2.5 hours. During this process, you can jam, sing, dance and paint to 80's music while sipping your favorite drink! Must be over 21 years old. No outside drinks allowed.

We will meet at the top of the hill, select each participant's equipment and then gear up on the beach to swim out to the kelp forest.
