Most Beautiful Airbnb in DC according to Architectural Digest (Airbnb blocks link; you can enter into a search engine “The Most Beautiful Airbnb in Every State”) One-of-a-kind opportunity to share home in historic Georgetown. Completely remodeled, including your guest room and private bath. Full access to house, with special extras: rooftop deck, sauna, shady backyard garden. Easy access to metro. Walk to Dupont Circle, Embassy Row, and shops, restaurants and bars/nightclubs.
Four story townhouse features newly remodeled and very well equipped kitchen (with fireplace), dining room, living room with high ceilings and second fireplace. Powder room off entry and third full bathroom on top floor. Washer and dryer on entry level. Two outdoor spaces: a beautifully landscaped backyard garden with dining table and grill and a rooftop deck. Top floor features NIR sauna and yoga area. Hardwood floors throughout (except tiled entryway and baths) and lots of natural light and windows that overlook trees.
Historic Georgetown is in the northwest quadrant of Washington, DC situated along the Potomac River and Rock Creek. Much of Georgetown is surrounded by parkland and green space, such as Rock Creek Park, Dumbarton Oaks, Oak Hill Cemetery, Rose Park and Montrose Park. Walking up and down the tree lined streets of Georgetown is a delight, viewing quaint and charming homes, gardens, flower filled window boxes and brick sidewalks which have been in place for centuries, perhaps walked upon by such notables such as George Washington, JFK or Alexander Hamilton himself. Local businesses add so much additional character, like the butcher shop two blocks away that makes the best pastrami sandwiches you will ever eat. There's also a dry cleaners, a wine shop and a corner store within a stone's throw. Our favorite farmers' markets are a hop, skip and jump away and open Wednesdays at Rose Park in season and Sundays at Dupont Circle year round. The nearby Georgetown Waterfront provides additional entertainment, either wining and dining at the many hot spots with a water view along the river or actually going on the Potomac for paddle boarding or kayaking. So much to see or do throughout the neighborhood, with countless shops, restaurants and entertainment establishments within walking distance, both in Georgetown and Dupont Circle.

Enjoy city living in our sunny, bright 1 BR Penthouse condo. I've outfitted some of the city's best spas so our guests should expect comfort, thoughtful amenities and great service. Our condo easily sleeps 4 with room for 6. Modern decor compliments century-old brick walls and reclaimed wood accents. The luxurious bathroom includes a custom seated shower, double vanity, soft towels, hair dryer, spa-quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The Metro Subway station is 2 1/2 blocks away.
Luxurious, private, urban, ultra comfortable and absolutely beautiful. Located on lively Mt. Pleasant Street! This is an urban retreat ideal for those who want to experience the bustle of the city in a diverse, historic and artsy neighborhood. Across the street is Suns independent movie theater & the Raven dive bar. On the next block there's Each Peach Market for great food-to-go and sandwiches and Beau Thai for local hip thai food. Mount Desert Island Ice Cream is a must and it's right in the building! Just steps away from us are even more restaurants, grocery stores, and even your big chain store Target! The lively neighborhoods of Columbia Heights, Adams Morgan, and Dupont are within walking distance and the White House is about three miles down 16th Street. Walk through Rock Creek Park for a tour of the historic Pierce Mill or marvel at the opulent 25 acre Hillwood Estate - home to the most comprehensive collection of Russian imperial art outside of Russia. Traveling with kids? A playground for little ones is just around the corner or walk down the hill to the National Zoo where admission is free. Sit for story time at the newly renovated Mt Pleasant library and check out original artwork by the artist Aurelius Battaglia who later worked on Disney's Dumbo. Public transport is excellent in our neighborhood...walk to the metro (2 1/2 blocks away), hop on a bus, rent a bike through Capital Bike Share or drive around with Zip Car - all just minutes from our door. Columbia Heights metro station (green line) is only 0.3 miles away - about a 5 minute walk from the condo. Cleveland Park (red line) is a 5 min ride on the H4 bus which is minutes from our door. For those wanting to hit the White House or National Mall, walk 2 minutes and catch the S4 bus which goes down 16th Street. The White House is about a 10 minute bus ride and the Mall is another ten. We highly recommend Uber or Lyft for getting around the city, especially if you have a larger group size, since it is comparable to the cost of metro tickets. For new UBER users, use promotional code jasonh1553 to get your first ride for free. For new LYFT, users, use promotional code JASON033374. This code varies what they give you but often it is credit towards your first ride. For those driving into the city: With advanced notice, we can obtain a parking permit for you that allows you to park unrestricted in our Zone. There is a $40 fee paid in advance for this service. Alternatively there is a garage is located at the DC USA complex (@ Target, Bed n Bath) at varying rates. Please check their website. It is a quick walk from the condo.

Enjoy your stay in DC in a small, cute, sunny, private cottage with a kitchenette, cable tv, and a private full bath. Located in a quiet neighborhood convenient to The National Mall, The Capitol Building, and great restaurants.
Private cottage with private entrance features a queen bed, private bath, cable tv, a kitchenette, WiFi, heating and cooling controlled by you and clean towels, sheets and bedspreads. This is a very small house and in order to maximize the storage possibilities the bed is about a foot higher off the floor than a regular bed. We have a stool to help you but if this will be a problem you may want to look into another place to stay. Conveniently located to Union Station, The Capitol Building, The National Mall, H Street/Atlas District, Eastern Market, great restaurants, and public transportation. Most of these locations are easily walkable or if you prefer to bike or take public transportation that is convenient too. This cottage is in our backyard. There is a field behind our house where we and many other neighbors enjoy playing soccer. We have 3 kids ages 9- 12. Check In is at 2pm. Check Out is at 10am. If you arrive early and would like to leave your bags in our storage room let us know and we can work that out!
Capitol Hill is a very family friendly, walkable neighborhood. There is a field behind our house where neighbors enjoy playing soccer. We are walking distance to a few parks, Eastern Market, H St./Atlas District and some great restaurants.

My home is in Northeast DC, close to the Brookland metro station (red line). I have a renovated row home with a huge backyard, which you also have access to. Guests will have your own bedroom on the basement level with a queen bed, mini fridge, and private bathroom. When making an inquiry or request, please share little bit about yourself and what brings you to DC.
Brookland is kind of a retro neighborhood...lots of cute bungalows, tree-lined streets, and friendly neighbors. There's also great new restaurants and Right Proper brewery less than two blocks away. And with Catholic University nearby, you'd be walking/biking distance to the metro, cafes and bookstore. Brookland is close to Northeast's most popular destinations - Union Market and H Street corridor. I'm about a 15-minute uber or metro ride to downtown where most of the traditional DC sites & museums are located.

The most convenient studio apartment in DC. Located so close to Union station 600 square feet, a front patio and rear patio, full kitchen, washer and dryer, bathroom all located two blocks to two supermarkets, a drugstore and numerous coffee shops and restaurants. Easily catch the Metro from Union Station 5 blocks away, ride the DC Streetcar up and down historic H Street, or take an Uber or Lyft a few blocks to anywhere in town!
This space is perfect for individuals on work travel or for couples vacationing. It's not a large space but has plenty of room to be comfortable and stretch out. There are pots, pans, glassware, plates and bowls, flatware for anyone that likes to cook. There is also a full washer and dryer in the unit to freshen up your laundry. It would be a tight squeeze for three guests, but is doable with one person sleeping on the couch. There is a patio in the front and in the rear of the home the guests are welcome to use, including a chimenea (fire pit) for a nominal extra firewood charge. We will get pictures of the outside space posted shortly. Pets are allowed on a case by case basis, so please ask!
Stop by Bullfrog Bagels in the morning for a bagel or bagel sandwich and great coffee. Union Market is great for lunch, oysters and wine, and general people watching and noshing. The Big Board (right next door) has some of the best burgers in town and plays sporting events, Boundary Road across the street is a bit classier without the TVs. The US Capitol, Supreme Court and Library of Congress buildings are a quick 8-9 block walk through a historic neighborhood. Metro access at Union Station can get you across town in minutes.

Just 1.5 blocks from the Shaw/Howard U. Metro, this modern English basement apt. with gas fireplace & high ceilings is a walkable spot to a gourmet grocery store, bars, restaurants, the Convention Center, and Chinatown. The home has exposed brick, Bosch appliances, heated bathroom floor--just 5 metro stops to the White House, the Mall and museums. The Shaw neighborhood is vibrant, constantly changing and full of diversity and young people. A great value with an experienced & DC-licensed host!
You won't feel like you're in an English basement! Cozy up by the fireplace in the winter and enjoy the cool pad in the summer. Since this is a basement, please note my disclosures below in "other things to note." I personally refurbished this 140-year-old property with one of D.C.'s hottest architects. You can trust that I have taken great care to provide you with fine amenities and attention to detail. This 625 sq. ft. apartment is very comfortable for four people, with two in the bedroom and two others could sleep on the pull-out, queen-sized sofa. There are also 2 single Aerobed blow-up mattresses. If you are traveling as a family, I would consider more than 4 people, but it would be tight. If you need just one night's stay, contact me and we can work something out. I've priced the apartment very competitively using the variable rates AirBnB suggests, based on the time of year. The actual daily cost may be higher or lower than the standard daily rate advertised, but you will always feel like you're getting your money's worth compared to any hotel in DC. If you've used AirBnB before, you know you have to lower expectations just a bit as a budget-conscious traveler (but not too much with this apartment). I also tend to book up fast during peak seasons. Any dates that are grayed out on the calendar you see are booked by other guests. This apartment is a dedicated rental, 365 days a year. I can almost always allow guests to drop their bags after 12:00 noon, but the maid will need a 2-hour window to clean, which can be as late as 5 p.m.
Shaw is the hottest neighborhood in DC right now. There's a great city vibe with nearby bars and restaurants, including a great beer garden 1.5 blocks away. A new gourmet grocery store is only 4 blocks away--a nice stroll through the historic Shaw neighborhood. The colorful row houses were all built at the turn-of-the-century--a classic feature of D.C. Two take-outs are across the street: Chinese and Mediterranean/Indian will do in a pinch, and a 24-hour 7-11 is a block away.

Adam works a government job by day and makes custom hardwood furniture by night and weekend; Jen is a Physician Assistant by day and has built a beautiful garden in our yard, sews, and does all sorts of crafty things. Our dog, Britta, loves people; but she does not have access to your space. If you don't love dogs, we can arrange to ensure you don't have any contact with her (like when you come to the front door). Other amenities: We have wireless internet (password provided upon check in); there is a TV and a Roku player for streaming Netflix/Pandora in the room, as well as cable If you're driving, let us know and we can work out a parking pass, or perhaps put you in our driveway space (if you have a small car). Our block, and the ones immediately adjacent, are home to quiet families who enjoy the nearby amenities, but also the relative tranquility of our flower and vegetable gardens.

This place has all the sun in the world, bright, warm and cozy. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Please don't expect an ultra modern apartment and building, both are fairly old, but I maintain them as good as reasonably possible.
this is a medium size studio apartment, with everything necessary for your stay. There is a queen size bed with a memory foam mattress, 46" TV with a comfortable sofa. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, toaster and a microwave is good enough for cooking and the bar height counter is comfortable for meals. There is a walk-in closet for storage and cloths. Please also keep in mind that the place has only one bed, the air mattress is provided for the 3rd guest only. If you are 2 and want to sleep separately, this is not a good option.
Foggy Bottom is my personal favorite in Washington DC. it has all types of restaurants, bars and hip coffee shops. Grocery stores are just 2 block away, as well as CVS and other convenience stores. The place is walking distance to Georgetown, Dupont circle as well as major sites in DC. The White House, The Mall and most of Smithsonian museums are just 15-20 minute walk away. If you choose to go further than that, not a problem, Foggy Bottom metro station is just 2 blocks away with blue orange and silver lines, and a bus stop is right outside the building.

My place is a 9 minute walk to The White House! You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood, the people, it is an ideal location...walking distance to lots of great restaurants, bars, clubs, super markets, tourist attractions...etc. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
Foggy bottom neighborhood is a historic district. Foggy Bottom takes its name from the morning mist that comes off of its southern boundary, the Potomac River. But the neighborhood, which stretches up to include the West End (just west of Georgetown) is a clear winner. Home to the Kennedy Center, the State Department and the southern tip of Rock.

Spacious one-bedroom apartment on a quiet street with private entrance, full kitchen and laundry, free parking, close to public transit (a block away from several bus lines, less than 1 mile to a Metro stop). Double bed in bedroom, pullout sofa bed in the living room. Great for kids!
If you want to visit the heart of Washington, D.C., without the traffic and expensive parking, stay with us in Brightwood. You'll have an entire finished basement apartment suite all to yourself, with private bathroom, living area, kitchen and laundry. Public transit is easy to access in this safe, quiet neighborhood. Hike or jog in the forested trails of the famous Rock Creek Park, just 2 blocks away.
Brightwood is a leafy, family-centric neighborhood. Rock Creek Park is just two blocks away from our home; a large and well-appointed public playground is just four blocks away. Though we're right in the District, on a Sunday morning all you'll hear is the birds chirping (and possibly the pitter-patter of little feet upstairs). The Maryland communities of Takoma Park and Silver Spring are both within walking distance or can be accessed by bus.

You'd love this smart studio in an iconic concierge building, the crown jewel of a leafy, resort-style campus opposite DC's Georgetown cafe & shopping area. It's minutes by foot from Rosslyn metro station -- a junction of 3 lines & big bus hub. Huge 10,000+ sq. ft. gym; free fitness classes; pool w/lap lanes; sauna; steam room; grocery; dry cleaner; hair salon -- all on-site. Walk-in closet, own Wi-Fi, granite counters, picture windows, gleaming bamboo floors, updated bath, built-ins galore.
Coronavirus COVID-19 update: The building's concierge service has been suspended, subject to weekly review. We have worked with our cleaners to implement strict COVID-19 infection prevention and sanitation measures. The in-house gym has been shut temporarily in line with social distancing requirements. As of early June, it remains to be seen if and when the swimming pool will open this summer. Still, it's hard to beat this ultra-convenient setting for a long-term stay, adjacent to the Potomac River, Georgetown and the monumental core of Washington D.C. Important: 90-day minimum lease. Sorry, No pets. No inside smoking. The unit features contemporary decor in a leafy, resort-style complex, two blocks from the Rosslyn metro stop. It's an ideal spot for touring D.C. -- only minutes' walk to metro, bus, bicycle-sharing stations and Zipcars. An uncommon collection of major attractions is within easy walking distance, along with many restaurants, coffee shops and convenience stores. The fifth-floor studio showcased here combines gleaming bamboo hardwood floors, tiled galley kitchen, granite counters, wall-mounted 43-inch 4K Ultra High Definition LG internet-enabled smart TV (new in 2020), built-in desk, marble bathroom vanity, oak-clad bookcases and other built-ins and upgrades. The TV lets you log into any of your video streaming accounts such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney, YouTube, etc. It also pulls in more than 180 other channels. The apartment includes its own, dedicated, individual Wi-Fi network powered by Comcast Xfinity -- in addition to a building-wide network. The highly popular River Place South building houses a 10,000+-square foot fitness center with late-model cardio and strength equipment, stretching area, sauna and steam room. Free fitness classes typically include Yoga, conditioning and Tai Chi. The studio itself is sunny with a large, high-efficiency, double pane, wall-to-wall picture window; roomy walk-in closet; built-in media center and bookcases. It's fully furnished in contemporary style and fully equipped, including hair dryer, microwave, coffee maker and DVD. All kitchenware and linens are provided. From the apartment, you may walk across the picturesque Key Bridge to D.C.'s trendy Georgetown neighborhood of ethnic restaurants, lively clubs, movies, and busy nightlife plus Georgetown University. Also in easy walking distance is Theodore Roosevelt Island, an 88.5-acre nature preserve in the Potomac crisscrossed by trails and boardwalk that zips you from the urban environment. The building, known as River Place South, is the most updated part of the gated community. A concierge is on duty in the upscale lobby. Community amenities include the resort-style outdoor pool with lap lanes and Jacuzzi-like hot whirlpool (open from Memorial Day to Labor Day). In addition to the in-house health club with late-model cardio and strength equipment and stretching area, River Place boasts an on-site grocery store open until at least 11 pm 7 days a week; hair salon; and on-site dry cleaner. On-site parking may be available by special arrangement @ $100 to $125 per month, depending on location. Washer/dryers are located on the building's first floor, operated with a credit card, debit card or quarters. Substantial improvements have been made to the building in the past few years, including an all-new lobby and mail room; new roof; all new double-pane windows; four new elevators; new hallway carpets: and a laundry room makeover, including advanced washing machines and dryers designed to text when a load is completed. The laundry room costs are limited to $1.50 per load for washing plus $1.50 for drying. The River Place South building overlooks the Potomac River and DC monuments on one side. Elsewhere, it faces the Iwo Jima Monument National Park, home to the storied sculpture of the flag-raising by U.S. Marines during the World War II Battle of Iwo Jima. This studio enjoys a pleasant Rosslyn view, including what amounts to River Place's village square and front lawn. The property lies close to jogging and biking trails along the Potomac, upscale shopping in nearby Clarendon and Georgetown, and acclaimed restaurants. Check out the terrace of the nearby Quarterdeck, a storied crab shack noted for Maryland Blue Crabs, crab cakes, oyster sandwiches, clam chowder and a tart, frozen Key Lime pie. What's more: just one block from the River Place gatehouse, Michelin-starred chef Fabio Trabocchi has crossed the Potomac River for the first time in his career to open a third location of his Northwest D.C. pasta house. A Michelin-starred chef's newest restaurant, that is, now highlights what would be the block nearest you. Zipcar and Capital Bikeshare stations are also within seconds' walk of the gatehouse that controls vehicular access to the attractive campus of sturdy, medium rise, red brick buildings. For touring, the location is perfect: the Rosslyn Metro station is a junction of the Orange, Blue and (newest) Silver metro lines. D.C.'s Ronald Reagan National airport is a straight shot by the metro's Blue line. Dulles International Airport is direct via the 5-A bus or the Silver Line and its companion express bus. Likewise, the Pentagon is direct, via the Blue line. And it's only one stop on the Orange line to DC's Foggy Bottom Metro station -- close to the U.S. State Department, the campus of George Washington University, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the World Bank. Separately, a splendid DC Circulator shuttle bus whisks you over the Key Bridge to Georgetown from Rosslyn and then to Dupont Circle, the heart of DC's intellectual life. Nearby are many of the nation's most prestigious think tanks and research institutions, including the Brookings Institution, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Center for Strategic and International Studies, the German Marshall Fund, The Eurasia Center, the Peterson Institute and the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies of The Johns Hopkins University. These think tanks host regular public policy-related events such as expert panel discussions that are free and open to the public. Check their online calendars for listings. Restaurants, coffee shops, bank, Target Express, Safeway supermarket and CVS drug store are all just around the corner from the apartment -- on or next to Wilson Boulevard, Arlington's main thoroughfare. It'd be hard to find a more conveniently located spot in the greater Washington D.C. area. NOTES: The Iwo Jima Marine Corps War Memorial adjacent to River Place is the traditional home of the Sunset Parade, a riveting free performance Tuesday evenings during the summer months by the United States Marine Drum and Bugle Corps with the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon. Crowds also gather at the Memorial on the 4th of July to watch the national fireworks display. The D.C. Circulator bus runs among Dupont Circle, Georgetown and Rosslyn. For $1.00, you may hop on the Circulator at the corner of 19th St. N. and N. Moore St. -- about seven minutes' walk from River Place -- and shoot across the Key Bridge into D.C. For the return trip, pick up the bus in Dupont or Georgetown. Buses run every 10 minutes from 7:00 a.m. - midnight Sunday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 a.m. on weekends. Separately, Georgetown University provides free shuttle service to its main campus. There are two private long-haul bus companies that connect to New York City. Vamoose Bus provides service several times daily from N Lynn Street in Rosslyn -- about five minutes' walk from River Place -- to Penn Station/Madison Square Garden in midtown Manhattan. The cost start as low as $30.00 each way as of March 2020. *** Please be advised that due to government restrictions concerning COVID-19, Vamoose says on its website that it has suspended all bus service. . Tripper Bus, referenced below, says it plans to resume regular operation on May 15. DC Metro and bus service likewise has been disrupted. *** Tripper Bus provides daily service from nearby 1901 N. Moore Street to the Macy's flagship store on 34th Street in Manhattan, for a similar charge. To protect my guests and myself during this crucial time, this listing is cleaned and disinfected according to Airbnb’s guidelines. There is also a 48 hr gap between bookings. This is a cozy, quiet studio apartment with an inviting outdoor space, queen bed, full bath, TV w/Netflix and Amazon video, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, private off-street/free street parking. Rates are discounted for weekly/monthly stays. DC metro is a 15 min walk/5 min bus ride. 10 min cab ride to Capitol Hill.
This is a basement studio in my DC townhouse in historic Fort Dupont- where DC proper meets outer-city calm. It's pleasant around here, but be aware that Southeast DC is not as gentrified as other areas of DC. I consider my neighborhood safe and know my neighbors. It’s rare that a guest reports feeling uncomfortable, and it has a lot to do with one’s level of worldly exposure. My metro stop is Benning Road station (blue and silver line). Your DC metro card is good for the subway, buses, and shuttles to/from all DMV airports. If you have a car, you can park on any side street by the metro for convenience while touring the town. I live and host other guests upstairs, but the basement is a walk-out and is all yours. There is a private, off street parking pad for you to use if you want it. There is a mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave, full bath, and high speed wi-fi. Coffee and tea are provided. Linens/towels are provided. There is a patio for you to a enjoy with a view of my garden-in-progress - you can request a blanket and picnic out on the lawn if you care to. A guest manual will assist you further in restaurants, transportation, house rules, and things-to-do. This is a basement apartment of a semi-detached townhouse. You may hear some footsteps, mild noise from next door, and I occasionally have a friend(s) over for dinner on the main floor, but overall it’s a very quiet and peaceful place to be.
Quiet, unassuming little neighborhood. Mostly middle aged families and retired couples. It’s largely residential, so although the metro is in walking distance there is not much else nearby. There is a corner store that stocks food essentials, snacks, beer and wine, and liquor. There is a grocery store about a 20 minute walk away.
